1. Quality of life; more abilities should be able to be cast fluidly, concurrently, be buffered or have a shorter cast time (example, jakk R mines adding cast time is a very anti-fun way of balancing), reduction of channel times for sanctums and without it pausing cooldowns, smaller tower hitboxes so targeting enemies sitting behind the tower can be targeted, narud loci stackable and on any terrain, many abilities that cause the champ to lose attack target command should not do so, bug fixes, this list not exhaustive

2. Other: it is the current reality that there are long queues for playing games, any mixture of adding observers for games, draft mode (at least for players for in-game team assembly), or significantly shorter games would help.

3. Balance; specifically targeting the crutches that enable low skill or quite literally remove skill from "skillshot". Lockbox boros used to be a meme, a target of ridicule for how pathetic one needs to be to need such a handicap. Now I see shap like nitro drake. Players won't get better

 

I know these are generally vague and the Other wishes are far-fetched and difficult to achieve but this has been a constant situation for nearly half decade

New game mechanics: Remove the healing from neutral camps and replace with a ward that highlights that camp area for 2 minutes, or adds another siege neutral in lane, or rewards a 3 minutes TS/Buff of some sort? IMO the jungle is still pretty boring and offers little variance to the current game. Add an ability on every hero that's essentially a gem that has a cd and remove gem from the game.

Balance; I agree with some low skills combos with items or heroes I think combos without counter play are very bad, nitro enables some heroes to do things you can't really counter already stated by grass. Some heroes/item combos are really slept on like grunty with everthirst it's very good almost too good but its hard to tell because its not very common to see without multiple recorded inhouse games going. I definitely think maar needs some looking at that hero does too much with terrible items relative to its role.

QOL; Mainly a balance vote, I think some items are really good but just not good enough, Agility items seem lacking even though agility itself is really really good for carries yet the only decent cheap agility item is psycho crusher. Parralax imo is a god tier item for agility heroes yet its omega slept on. Items like silver soul are really great but sometimes you can just die in some scenarios that it would seem really good almost always making me think neosteel is just better for what I could do with it. Explosive Retrofit is amazing also but I believe it was nerfed or changed from its previous stats. 

New Heroes; I think new heroes are really interesting and great for the game, I think vorazun could be really amazing with some tweaks. Koramund is also extremely good yet I have yet to play a game as that hero, I like mobile heroes that don't rely on move speed to be "mobile". Some heroes I think could be really good with a slight rework simply because they have a straight forward design, balrog/LZ/penthos/vergil(hes just terrible in his current state even tho his blue gene is amazing), I never play these heroes because its simply click an ability and move toward someone yet there are plenty chill heroes to play like supports people don't openly pick.

2. IH/Fun games again, lobby pub games are not the same quality they've been in a while- losing interest in playing them almost completely tbh. 

3. Balance- Remove all the following items and tell me the game doesn't get better *SPOILERS IT WILL BE BETTER* Lockbox, Nitro, Shrink, Tetra- these items should be just removed. Other items worth an honorable mention that are obviously over performing because 95% of the player base only buys these items every game regardless of comp- Psycho crusher, Cauterizor, Shinobi, SHM, Lightning Rod, Para, Taser, Sliptide, COA, Chilling.

Obviously this guy has just started playing again, agi items "Weak" holy shap batman LOL. And yes please buff vorza, the highest dps/heal/team killing hero the game has to offer. 3 seconds of invulnerability isn't enough must make it 10 LOOOOOOOOOOOL.

Sure if you think that but you should read what you type before you say stupid shap. I used to play ih with whale and atom all the time back in the day and offer advice on ways to nerf op items/heroes. Unlike you I wasn't irrelevant and critiquing opinions.

well despite the idea that you likely did more contribution in the past that bile ever did, Bile still  really isn't in the complete wrong. Bile has played more recent games and thus more experience with the recent meta while you just came back. Proper judgement takes time to make. Bile may need more time to express it properly, but he still has more experience in the end in this meta.  And trust me, the game is much more different than a few years ago when whale was working on the game.

Back to the poll, I voted for "others", I would like to cross fingers for a sotis remake so I can get the chance to experience it with what I know from playing aeon of storms,  instead of being the mandrake that went mid and died 1 time n left the game.

I actually remade Transport into a default talent that replaced Return in one internal version of AoS (with the intent on removing space gems also) then changed it back. It didn't feel organic to me.

Adding a 7th slot at this stage is quite difficult, otherwise I would do what DotA did and add additional slots for consumable and a backpack.

If we were to give every hero a space gem-like sub-ability it would replace the default Return Talent, and would likely inspire a remake of the T3 Transport talent to set it apart further or a new T3 Utility Talent altogether. 

It would come at the cost of removing space gems from the game like Bile said since they become redundant.

If enough people want this, we could explore it. But like I said, losing the "Return" default talent just didn't feel right to me.

i meant like how MK and Tosh and Zergling and Jakk, etc have a minor ability to control their summons using the V hotkey. Can you add another one of those tiny skill buttons and just bind it to C or w/e?

 

just a funny idea but what if, after implementing the above, space gem becomes a specialized consumable like guile with a long cooldown that warps nearby allied units (including creep) to an allied structure? Imagine warping in a bunch of creep to a tower or to a teamfight, kind of like old Maar Mass Teleport but with a much longer cooldown, it would help speed up games to snipe towers.

Wouldn’t work across the board since those heroes you mentioned already have a sub-ability like that. A talent needs to be sacrificed so that it is standardized for all heroes.

create a player-controlled structure like the sanctums on the map that is very small in an unused part of the map and bound automatically to control group 5

 

The structure has an ability that can teleport the player as with space gem. Just like with Sanctums, the cooldown  can be displayed either via a visible, individualized counter on the structure itself, OR the structure can be invisible and a buff indicating that the structure's ability is on cooldown can be inflicted on the player user.

 

then name the structures
