Bile
I think a lot of people would agree 100% spell resist for 8 full seconds is a little over powered?

MOTHER
The idea is that the item has its place, purpose and drawbacks. It’s only spell immunity, which can be countered by other types of damage at best or baiting the active out prematurely at worst, leaving the item in cooldown for the rest of the team fight. Team comps should be balanced so that you have ranged and melee, different types of damage coming from different roles. If you are all spell damage that’s on you not Tetra for example. In AoS, you have the advantage of seeing what items the enemy is purchasing in real time with a click of a button, this should not be underestimated as you can infer what the enemy plan is and counter it before it reaches fruition. On the other end, Tetra is finally being recognized by players after being in the game for a long time. If it gets out of hand, we can revisit its price, active duration, and/or silence penalty. Yeah I see the angle for the item but in reality the 100% resist for a full 8 seconds just completely nullifies a lot of heroes' and items in the game. It also acts like a parallax which I'm not sure if it's intended but basically any spell stun ability will do nothing, no stun. In terms of baiting for a team fight, 8 seconds is long enough to even if it is baited engage with because again, you have a full 8 seconds of spell immunity and nothing can stun you. I find it most annoying in the late game as a lot of heroes won't have the item before 35+ minutes into the game, so if I'm tass and I push tab, I see no Tetra, I continue to build spell dmg- 20 or so minutes later a wild tetra appears and I now do basically 0 dmg to that hero. I strongly am for a decay or at the very least some sort of trade off- like taking 100% extra physical dmg after the duration ends.

MOTHER
We usually try to do IHs on Saturdays and Sundays as that is when traffic peaks and we can get 2 and sometimes even 3 games going simultaneously. DreamCrusher
basically forces all casters to retreat from engagement vs someone w/ that item.. 8 seconds is too much.. needs to be like 4, w/ like 2-4 seconds of silence afterwards. Boros spell immunity is 4 seconds.. and he's melee ... this item goes on any hero... range/tank etc.

Casters can also bait it out. Then either wait for it to finish to attack, or take advantage of the enemy's false sense of invincibility by having your very own dps destroy them with physical damage. Your own dps carrying tetra is optional, but recommended.
DreamCrusher
how about heroes that are tanky dps.. b/c to me thats where this item really shines... tanky dps heroes do wonders in the current meta, coupled with this item and very few heroes have a chance to 1v1. When you say they can bait etc. in a perfect world yes, but aos doesn't always lend itself to allowing multiple heroes to combat 1, when you've potentially got 4 other enemy heroes engaged in other places on the map. MOTHER
The bruiser hero type/build has been a very difficult type hero to balance. I've found it is better to balance these heroes individually on a case by case basis. If there is a particular hero that is problematic when built as a tanky dps, let's examine them and weigh whether they should be allowed to be such a successful tanky dpser, especially if this is not their intended role or they excel at other roles too.
