Hi Gents

It's been a while, I have been popping in every now and again it seems things really have gone from bad to worse with Skydie now being the most frequent poster from EU, Whale gone, dat draternoob gone, John plus 4 gone (funny enough for John) and now where to be seen is that sneaky Diipa.

So I posed a challenge to determine whether the community is completely dead and no way of reviving or whether there is still a small chance that it could be revived, therefore if the following criteria is met by the end of February 2016, I will host the largest tournament the game has held previously <details pending criteria being met>

please join the group on the EU region "AOS Challenge" , if 150 members join - Anyone can join

Within that group it can be both EU and NA members - group will be located in EU (dats how we roll boiis)

In the last week of February 21 to the 28 of February a constant of 45 players have to be in the group online from peak hours of 18h00 to 00h00 and at least 30 of these people need to be on mumble, Also in this last week a total of 2 inh's are to occur during this time.

In the next 2 months a total of 1 new heros to be added (Calling out the Devs what's up)

The 7 of the following players need to be playing regularly in the last week of Feb (4 days of the week)

John - MVP

Diipadaapa

Soedenone - Unlikely

Corsa

Climax - Unlikely

SayMyName

PurePysco

Brew - Unlikely

Maxwell

Spooky

Kael

Yaldi

And meh CrazySoldier, Whale, Allectris or Highdrater

Soooo is the community up for the challenge? I'll be seeing you real soon ;)

Hi African, nice to hear from you mate. 2017 btw*

While I appreciate your efforts the bar is probably set a higher than when we were playing ranked with mIRC in early 4.X or something.

I might be able to get my team / most of it back for the tournament, but they wouldn't even show up to practice for the last tournament you held like 3 years ago, so I'm doubtful :P

Anyway when are you joining in houses yourself, Jungle still suits your skill lvl :)

Typical African making crazy demands from the rest of the Western world..

PS: How'd you guess my name?

PSPS: Rip the missing Diipa.

As much as I would love to have another AOS tournament and how much I appreciate what you are willing to put into the game, I honestly believe that you're requirements are close to impossible, currently we've got like 30 people capable of playing inhouses if that.

Well let's stay I'm not an unreasonable man, what would the currently community state as a challenge that would be difficult but with incentive possible to meet?

I could make them if I skip class for the next 4 weeks and fail.

Time for some help? Who would be keen! Be that manager bro! Or I could give an extension ;)

Nostalgia isn't a strong enough incentive alone to reel in the oldies. Let alone the absurd numbers you are proposing (troll?).

At best, and I am being optimistic here, 100 players could come together, but I think anything more than 50 regularly is an achievement in and of itself.

I don't think a new hero, let alone 2 is in the cards anytime soon. Adam's studies > Mod IMO. However, continued fine-tuning, updates, revisions, and perhaps a new item or two is much more feasible for now.

Nostalgia is the strongest incentive you have, but like I said if I jump the gun I'm not unreasonable, the numbers can change, we need to be practical.

Personally the games was at its best when broken shap was everywhere, nor would I expect Adam to update the game over studies, look all so see is the last hero was released beginning of last year. New stuff even if broken makes it fun, make lots of broken stuff and it's more fun :) but please that is my opinion and everyone has the right to there own.

Wow you mentioned me last africunt when all I do is carry you with my bolas

Suck my tychus dick boii!!

Im just thinking one that still works when everything is op, like around when dustin was just released? that period or so

I don't remember when that was. I still have a version with my mothership core hero lol

I don't think any that old are going to work very well.

That's right. Lot's of stuff will probably be broken and not worth the time to fix them.

I'd be glad if I were wrong but I don't think any kind of tourney is going to happen because there is simply too few people willing to commit to something that is prone to a last-minute cancellation for lack of participants. Would be nice to see some of the old-school players in our regular EU inhouse sessions though. We mostly play between 7pm-12am London time...
