Care to share your frustrations and how you think it could have been handeled differently?

I think to reduce the nonsense the person running the event should not play in it.

Honestly you should just wait a bit, take a break. Then come back and host a league / tourney cross over event. IF your able to get a decent amount of teams just do a round robin over the course of a few weeks. Then the top 4 teams qualify for the tourney aspect. Have the top 4 play bo3's in a single day single elimination. For that "epic tourney day" with streams and all the hype. Teams wont feel ripped off because of the round robin they would of had a chance to play vs every other team in the event at least once.

The Con with the League is it seems to be such a long term commitment it can be exhausting. Every weekend you have to sacrifice at least 1-3 hours out of your day in what seems to be a never ending cycle.

The Tournaments come across more fun because its a tournament. But the Con is the times zones and the amount of time it takes to complete a tourney. Russians will be awake at 3-5 am on sunday trying to finish it. NA teams on west coast have to wake up at like 6 am to be on in time. Then its a exhausting 2 day event with like 8-12 hours per day. Then you have teams who get knocked out early who had a lot of fun but are disappointed there stay was so short.

You do this on a bimonthly basis or so. The first 3 weeks of the month are the round robin. Then the 4th week will be tourney weekend. Then you take a month break for people to calm down, restructure teams and the such. Allow teams during the round robin process to play games any time during the 3 weeks. Also you wont have teams waiting around on other teams to finish there games. Let it be loosely structured, the only thing that matters is every team plays each other once before the tourney date. Allow the teams to set up there own rules on a per game basis. If they want draft or no draft / if they want bo1 or bo3 etc. The only thing matters is they finish on time. Then have the tourney aspect a bit more strict.

Why is never even an option?

Your single-handedly killing Aos by making "never" an option, congratulations Yaldi you killed AoS

Never was included as a troll magnet. Anyone who was coming just to mess with the poll would choose "never" allowing me to easily ignore their opinion...
