Guide Request: Voltron Leo

A possible good build: Parallax, Yamato, Warp Shard, Asuras Guise, Kuras, Gravity. In general, try to gank when your ult is up. In team fights, you're the clean up crew or the picker-off-er. Just Warp shard onto them, activated all your skills and right click the nearest hero.

So INT Leo really is the most viable?

 

PS: No Argus OP

 

I thought about replacing Kuras with Argus but I feel like Kuras does the same thing but better. Steals 10% resist and 10% damage which is basically +20% damage. Argus gives 25 more int but with kuras you also get spell armor, reduce their healing, and amps damage for anyone on your team attacking them.

Well my build was Parallax, Yamato, Warp Shard, Asuras Guise, Kuras, Gravity. I didn't want to swap out the first 4 items because of the debuff immuntiy, timescale, instant blink, and spell leech. So they last two were for mostly damage. I figured kuras + gravity could give more damage than kuras argus if they have resist.

Seems like a fun hero. Personally, I don't understand how he does so much damage when Lightning Claw base damage and scaling are so low. Maybe Yamato Reactor just op.

 

I like the Leo hero. Can be built a few ways but without giving away all my secrets, here is the key:

 

Movement speed, weapon speed and Intel. His ult does a lot of damage due to the number of hits you take. It also bounces so even if you are not the target, you have to run. Obviously Yamato is a key item.

 

Leo is massively countered by stuns and slows. To the point where In house Leo is very very hard to play.

Anything Melee is massively countered by stuns and slows, which is why the only DPS related Melee heroes that are really used in IH are Boros and Balrog which have debuff immunity, and Penthos who is stupidly mobile and hard to kill.

I suppose true but Zeratul is useful, Shadow can be useful, Boros has a pull, Balrog a jump, Penthos mobility. Ling jumps in and can be viable.

 

Leo has no jumps or vortex or etc to bridge the gap. He actually has to make the run. he is one of the most susceptible to these issues. but i agree all melee have a similar prob

That last idea just sounds dumb. Apache can prolly godlike leo with a dumb build. And Warp shard sounds pretty dumb for leo... especially rushing it! :P

 

But Apache doing well with a dumb build doesnt mean much. He is a great player. But I would not suggest someone below his skill level to even attempt that idea LOL.
