Warhawk
Just played a few games tonight and ran into the immortal in every single one. So far, I haven't been able to find anything that will come close to stopping him. He's tanky, hits like a ton of bricks and just generally all around rampages through everything. At least, this is what I saw. Is anyone else having issues dealing with him or am I just missing the right hero to counter? I'm not claiming anything either way, I'd just like to know what the community thinks on this. Thanks, War.

Kael
Obviously hes op right now,for people to like the new skills and learn to play him.The problem is using heroes that are released 1-2 days in league games(sniff* sniff* Clique). ZERATUL
Immortal is OP, even after nerfs. I would lower slow on his ult probobly, 60% is way too much

NoWaterJustIce
He will do especially well in pubs where people are building glass cannon. He is probably too strong right now but if you grab 1-2 spell resist items his dmg suddenly disapears and then you can focus on killing him
taznkid
He will do especially well in pubs where people are building glass cannon. He is probably too strong right now but if you grab 1-2 spell resist items his dmg suddenly disapears and then you can focus on killing him The issue is his CC...his Q does a reasonable AoE stun, his W stuns everyone that attacks him/targeted ally every 3 second interval, and R is essentially a AoE wall Atom Smasher that can be used to prevent opponents from escaping or chasing. Frankly, his damage is nothing special except as a long range poke. In a head on 1v1 situation, Immortal should generally lose to, say, a DPS or Burst Caster. In team fights however, I think he may now arguably be the best CC hero in the game. ZERATUL
The issue with immortal is he does way too much things. Doesent matter if go in support lane(chilling korhal etc), or mid lane as I prefer him(kinetic cell ihan etc). You should probobly make him stronger late game, but nerf a lot his early game, its ALMOST as strong as psionic in lane, and you say he falls of late game, its only in terms of dmg probobly. In our league game vs ezwins immortal destroyed early mid game and with crazy poke from him and raynor we easily pushed t3 and was gg then. My suggestions: Passive-10 both armor and spell armor, tbh not sure how high this is, but it looks fine in game. Q-deals way too much dmg early-mid game, nerf it even more early-mid game and make it scale up better in late game. Also make it more visible. W- If u use it on ally u dont get shields urself. MAYBE make ethernal cd of 1-2 seconds for heroic units only, but keep for same unit 3 sec, and make it longer like 8 sec. E-Guess its somewhere fine now. R-Slow 60%→40%
Sphynx
With as much CC as he has.. the sheilds that stun... made it almost impossible to chase down an out of position IMMO in a game I was in. Obviously most people can see the obvious nerfs. The sheild that stuns at LEAST needs a lower CD. Because he was almost constantly casting it... and I couldnt chase him down with a leo with speed items LOL. (and he was low life) .. He stunned me 4 times before he escaped LOL (half the map run) Edited April 21, 2015 by Sphynx
Jaysi
One thing I don't like is that all his abilities scale off max energy, then he has an ability that passively regenerates maximum energy, yet none of his abilities cost a percent energy. He's constantly full energy and just spams his abilities without a care in the world. And I would agree that his Q should be more visible during travel. Adamantium
W stuns were removed. :) Other recent nerfs include. - [R] Channel time 1s -> 1.5s - [R] Slow 60% -> 50% - [Q] Range 12 ->
Head
Needs longer cooldown on shields Also indication of ultimate channel, or rework ultimate like Thresh's so only hitting wall inflicts slow
EterNity
Time to introduce Anti-Mage into AoS. AM seems like a perfect counter to Immortal!

Doom
Base damage on his ball is just insane, even if he isn't building damage, it takes away like 40% hp plus stun and displace.

taznkid
right now base dmg is only 240 at level 4 which is on the medium - lower side of damaging abilites It's that scaling doh....altogether its 25% scaling. When I play Immortal, I usually easily get around 4000 Energy, which means around 1000 extra damage. Often all I need is 1 Q, use R, proc Cerebros and Atom Smasher, then Q again and the guy is dead (often even before that 2nd Q).

So you are saying all you have to do is: Use 2 abilities (or 1 ability twice) Use your ultimate AA a couple times Have 2 fully built items to buff your AA And then you can kill another player. Seems like MANY hero's can do that. Doesn't sound that OP to me. Edited April 23, 2015 by king

Seems like MANY hero's can do that. Doesn't sound that OP to me. Geez so picky...fine let me explain it to you fully. 1. Immortal's abilities are rather brain dead easy to use compared to burst casters, and does as much (if not more) damage 2. It's Auto-Attack ONCE. Furthermore, Cerebros and Atom Smasher have the cheap versions, Lightning Rod and Ocelot's Revolver respectively. 3. Often times you don't even need to go this far, you can just Q poke until they are dead. 4. 2 Fully built items may sound like alot, but it really is not. You can get that around 20-30 min in (game time) easy. 5. Compared to other casters...yes, quite OP. What other caster can kill someone instantly in 2 abilities? Burst Casters maybe, and usually they have to wear them down first.
Sphynx
Just mauled again... he still has the stuns on those sheilds. 5 man team with toxi and tosh couldnt chase him down due to constantly being stunned on shooting him..... I still call BS

Doom was talking about the base dmg when building non dmg not about the scaling. The scaling might be too high but that wasnt what my post was about.
