NoWaterJustIce Posted April 18, 2015 Report Share Posted April 18, 2015 So ive been pubbing a decent amount lately and can someone so something about fking LZ... is in every fking game. never dies except when he is facetanking the t3 tower without creeps and can 2v1 pretty much any hero... like why the fk does he have an attack speed steroid on a fking tank. fkning debuff immunity and fking all the armor in the world and fking shields... so i think lz is a little strong atm. The thing about LZ is I don't think he's op when played as a tank. I think he's very strong though. However, when people build him DPS I want to rage quit. Doom Posted April 19, 2015 Report Share Posted April 19, 2015 Considering how strong CC is right now, anything with that amount of debuff imunity in a single skill, who can get tanky is super strong, and lz in particular has been broken for decades. @ psionic: seriously, the easiest hero to counter. People think that they are cyprus, but they are not. There is a very long combo that needs to be executed (3 Q, w back to self, 3 Q, Ult, 3 Q Blink, 3 Q) for maximum damage. If he's fed, he doesn't need to do all of it, but there are very easy ways to reduce it's damage. Firstly, sidestep. Even if you don't dodge a single Q, the Q is not the source of main damage. He can't hit you with most of his ult damage if you his orbs are not all behind you, and same story for W'ing to self. He can try W to you then ult, but that combo is actually pretty easy to dodge. Im not saying he cant be dealt with with a full team, but if you have a full team then he can have a full team too (in ih he is very strong). im just saying that i dont think a hero should be able to be that tanky, do that much dmg and have debuff immunity. I never claimed to be good at the game, but i can tell you that in a group of 10 people playing a pub game i see whole teams getting rekt by an LZ and i doubt that every single time it was because the LZ was a superior player to every other person in the lobby, sometimes maybe, but not every time. If the LZ is worse then he should do worse. I dont complain when i see someone who is obviously more skilled than me winning because they were more skilled. Especially AoS pub where people leave, people who have their first game join and feed and people play heroes for the first time. Literally any hero can reck pubs. I have had plenty of pubs that are IH or better quality because there were no leavers or feeders. My point is, while you cannot say that because a hero does well in a random pub game it is op, you also cannot say that pubs provide no useful information. Devs previously dumbed down this game on purpose to appease people who think its the DPS road or the GTFO road, then Whale tunes back the DPS heroes a bit and the pubstars run riot. Anyone heard of teamwork? I didn't like the DPS change for selfish reasons (I main Darpa/Nova) BUT having seen the situation in a more popular MOBA I conclude DPS heroes have it so easy in AoS. Just because your carry can't go and 5 shot LZ anymore doesn't mean he is unbalanced, people in AoS need to learn basic sh!t like peeling, diving backlines and prioritizing targets. I never said i was mad because i built glass cannon and i couldn't kill the lz in 5 shots. im upset because the LZ is dealing as much dmg as a carry and can tank more than most tanks. With debuff immunity that lasts 5 seconds and also grants movement speed it is a perfect escape for when you finally manage to get him down low and for ignoring all debuffs while he is reking your face Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
