It gives too much advantage considering it's price

Pyre : 3950 mineral

+52% weapon speed

+25 weapon damage

+15% CD RDT

Unique : +5% targets max health additional physical damage(+10% if target has higher health)

Arcbound : 4500 mineral

+5% mv speed

+0.15 mv speed

+45% weapon speed

+45% crit chance

Unique : +8% mv speed +16% weapon speed for continuous attack

or maybe arcbound just needs buff

I think Smoldering Incisor for 2000 is currently the best deal in the game, just my opinion.

I haven't really bought Arcbound much since the changes, as usually you want to buy another crit item with it. You can just get soooooo much damage out of Pyre nowadays for less money at a really early point in the game.

Is it OP? Definitely leaning toward it, but I can't say for sure.

pretty sure its weapon speed.

Arcbound gives you 61% in consistent attack

it's just combined price is so low

it should be around 5000 or 5500

Yeah currently

Pyre+sliptide rush deals so much damage

it's best AA option imo

The sad thing is some people still think pyre is bad.

I think the component unique should only do like 2.5 or 3 percent instead of the full effect.

Also, why the flob do we have items that give that much weapon speed? I think it's silly to he able to buy 1 or 2 items with weapon speed and be maxed. The amount of weapon speed these items along with c48 should be reduced. I'd like to see carries not even getting to weapon speed cap so that it becomes more essential and beneficial for teams to have a CoA or MKs passive. This way you can also see people going for on - hit proc item builds, for example, you buy pyre and sliptyde for their static on hit effects(or even on certain heroes like cain etc) and you would then prioritize weapon speed to max those procs while having low actual weapon damage, you could had lightning rod to that list as well since it's every 4th attack.

Pyre has been for as long as I have played a very good item, idk why people call it bad, it gives more aa speed then anything except arcbound and costs only 2/3rds as much, as well as being good vs tanks, and working with noncrit builds now that it gives weapon damage and CDR for only an extra 650 it's even better

Note: I hate autocorrect

Arcbound is not meant to be effective as an item unless you already have: A) Another Crit Item & B) Another Damage item. Therefore in a direct 1:1 comparison with any item, you should find it inferior (with the possible exception of Khali Blade).

That's just how crit items work, because they scale so heavily with one another.

As for Pyre, a couple (OP) ppl still complain that pyre is weak (Pinkie for example). Its also not even picked up that often, as most still favor FoE rush into like, Sliptide or TimeSplitter or Crit.

Also, if you bothered to try it yourself, you'd find that you need at least 2 items (TimeSplitter + Pyre) to reach wpn spd cap on any hero without a wpn spd steroid built in, which I think is fine. I lowered wpn spd from Agi a looooong time ago to fix the old "1 item gg max wpn spd" effect.

Aeren carried us last night on cyprus!

He basically reinvented the metagame. A hero that is usually thought of as snowbally and needing good start/ganks. He started feeding earlygame and then gradually became more useful as the game went on, until he reached a point of total usefulness.

Its not just that weapon speed is really easy to gt, its to easy and. Heap to get maxed aa speed and massive damage as well qs around 50% both resists and something along the lines of 30 or 40% lifesteal, whereas thw typical caster is lucky to have either resist exceed 30% glass cannons are not supposed to be able to soak up a burst casters burst without sacrificing damage but because of items like sliptide and galactic they get both
