taznkid
I've been experimenting with various builds. Currently what I run: Coat of Arms/Everthirst Atom Smasher Force of Entropy C4 Gauss Cannon Isomorphic Pyre Contamination Shard Force of Entropy and Contamination Shard are generally frequently switched out for items such as: Xenomorphic Cleaver Darksteel Titan Darwin's Might In a nutshell, I'm aiming for around 3500 HP, with around 50% Physical and Spell Resist, Armor Penetration, and decent DPS. Suggested builds are most appreciated.
SCV
I don't is really necessary to go pyre after getting C4 and COA.
Jaysi
I don't is really necessary to go pyre after getting C4 and COA. But what if they have a Jackson with chilling and you're attacking Toxi with metiphic armor? GG
taznkid
I don't is really necessary to go pyre after getting C4 and COA. Pyro, I have found, has surprisingly slow base weapon attack speed. Even with Coat of Arms, C4, and Fury, if I remember correctly, the weapon speed comes out to something like 0.8 or 0.7. SCV
But what if they have a Jackson with chilling and you're attacking Toxi with metiphic armor? GG In that case, you are doomed(or just go pyre with sliptide instead of c4 + xenomorph)
taznkid
In that case, you are doomed(or just go pyre with sliptide instead of c4 + xenomorph) But then you lose a ton of Weapon Damage and Armor Penetration....
martY
Some good discussion so far. One thing to keep in mind w/ Pyre since it changed: the "shock dmg" component is only 2k now, so you can get a good chunk of speed/dmg at an early point in the game. I've been picking that up in early-midgame and not bothering with the rest of Pyre until I've completed some other dmg/speed items. Timing isn't everything, but it can turn a game around sometimes. Took the words right out of my mouth. I've found that in the absence of Chilling Artifact, C4 Gauss Cannon with that Pyre component is enough to give you decent weapon speed. The Unique also helps alot, since Pyre doesn't have very good Weapon Damage scaling. Edited March 27, 2015 by taznkid
