Adamantium
Yes I think his kit is OP, mostly because of his mobility. Edited March 19, 2015 by AtomiK

Ironsights
I would agree that penthos is currently over powered. Wit heroes you have three basic concerns 1-Damage 2-Durability 3-Mobility All heroes must have at least one of the three be a problem for them, ie Shadow is fast with high damage, but fragile. Tychus is durable and powerful, but slow. Et al. Penthos however seems to cover all three qualities quite nicely. His heal and shields make him durable, his tele makes him very mobile, and he is an AA hero so his damage is pretty decent too. He could be mobile and durable, with low damage, but I doubt anyone would play a hero like that--for instance, pyro, who is underplayed in pubs due to this. He could be high damage, high durability, which would make him a melee tank <--this could work He could be high damage, high mobility, which would make him a dps hero <--this could work Over all though, something should change. as it stands, he is able to fill too many roles too well. Jaysi
I think I've said it before, but I think it might help if you added cooldowns to his abilities, at least his blink, as he is easily one of the hardest heroes to catch. This would stop his double blinks, the cooldowns don't even have to be that long, like 5 or 10 seconds.
Spooky
Penthos is fine. Don't forget he is melee hero, therefore he is highly dependent on his entire team. He is very strong mid game, before enemy carries damage kicks in. Late game he failing off. Besides he is very dependent of early game performance. If he or his team fall behind its very hard to come back with Penthos. Its because of his snowball nature. Actually its apply to every other melee carry. If u can't do enough damage before loosing your health u are basically useless. That is the risk around this type of heroes. And Penthos isn't an exception. He has also many hard counters - Jackson, Grunty, Balrog, Khyrak, Raynor, etc. Its also hard to play him against Micro since he can always toss u back. Hero isn't banned or picked every inhouse, because people are aware of risk involved there. But if u get good start with him, that risk will pay off. Adamantium
Penthos is OP but doesn't need a nerf. As long as I'm not playing against it, I'm happy.
Johannes
If it's a hero you love to have but hate to play against its op Gambit
Gambit
Snow ball nature or op-either way he gets freaky powerful with just one or two kills ahead-tower diving, chasing half the team around at once. The damage, hp/sheild, and blink(especialy through walls and cliffs)- I like to say he gives u 2 choices, u die or he gets away. Is the game meant to always have a couple selectable high dps heros that the whole team has to be free to focus on sometimes to take down? I see the point of him being melee- but he is ridiculously mobile too. Edited April 28, 2015 by Gambit
Spooky
I see your point, Penthos isn't easy to deal with. U just need good CC and play as a team. So I can imagine why he can stomp any pubs. Strong CC (crowd control) is making him useless. Stun counters everyone, but Penthos is countered by silence as well. If u force him to buy Parallax u decrease his damage potential a lot. ZERATUL
So ur saying pentos isnt strong in inhouses?
Spooky
He is strong in inhouses but not against every composition. U wont draft him against Raynor, Jackson, Queen, Greelus and so on.
ZERATUL
You wont draft any hero vs raynor, you can just start next draft NoWaterJustIce
Sphynx
Penthos could use a 5% nerf. Slight nerf should even things out.
Strider
In my opinion Penthos is strong but not OP, I think he should be left as he is, but maybe buff Taser..
taznkid
I heard Jackson is pretty good against Penthos.
Adamantium
I would draft Penthos against Raynor and greelus. Jackson maybe not. He's a pretty strong hero who excels and jumping in and picking off your squishes and if built right (IMO) can take lots of damage too especially around the mid game margin.
