Why has the gaming community as a whole, went to such shat? I remember the good old days when noobs were welcome, taught how to play games, invited into clans and etc. Now, if your new to a game, no one helps, People just talk shap. Specially on AoS.. like seriously what the hell is wrong with people? Every1 is a wannabe pro that thinks they run shat... omg ... pixels!!!!! .... ISO: less shatty people...

Groups of people have always been the same: a few good ones and a lot of dicks. Gaming is more mainstream now compared to the early AOL days, so now we have a larger sample of people playing games. More people means a higher chance of running into dicks.

Things might seem bad now, but this honestly isn't even the most toxic moba community, let alone gaming community as a whole. Even when I was in high school, gotfrag produced some of the worst mannered, drama driven douchebags ever. Vanilla WoW had people throwing away their real lives over guild drama (I think that still happens today, actually). NoX was so hostile you couldn't even get a kill without someone freaking out and trying to DDoS you.

When you get a large group of people together who don't have much going on outside of the game they're playing, they are going to magically find ways to feel important and seek validation. I ran a small raiding guild in WoW around 2008 and had this one girl I had to kick because she was being a constant bítch toward the other women in my guild. No good reason, she was just a jealous idiot who wanted to feel important.

So don't sweat it man. Chances are the guy raging at you in-game is either a kid or just a complete flobing loser.

Most of the people who are dicks don't go on the forum, they just play it and get mad because they're losing and they take out their anger on you.

So there's no point complaining here, like marty said. If you'd like, shoot me a msg and we can play together. Darkr.100 EU

I don't even mean just people losing/raging ... I mean also people who win are winning and need to.. boast? Like as an example.. say ur in a game... 5v5 .. lets say the one team has 2 completely new players that you have to spend half the time trying to teach them what items to buy and telling them where to go and trying to explain the importance of not dying. The other team is a premade who needed to get their pubbash on. The two noobs u know of course die a few times giving the premade a "much needed" boost in exp and minerals. lets say combined those noobs go 0- 10 in the first 10 minutes of the game, then out of frustration they leave because they no longer want to learn the game. n say at that time each of the 3 ppl only attained 1-2 deaths each. n one of those 3 says " darn noobs feeding" .. then one of the premade team players says "get wrecked scrub" or something along those lines.... like... seriously?

Haha, it's been like this since the beginning of time for online gaming. Really, if you think about it, it doesn't really matter. The best reply is that of kindness, they wont know how to respond to that :)

Aol has been a pretty bad internet provider since their existence. I wouldn't recommend them.

Lol well at the time it was really the only internet available in my area lol. I no longer have it.... but I did have aol from 1.0 until 9.0 ... rough times.. lol

Eh, I remember good times with much more friendly people. I'm even still friends with a few people from my early days.. playing AOE.. clan Final.. was amazing. You know what we did with noobs? Recruited them, and taught them. We ran the maps we played. Smosh blood for instance was Final's
