Heroic Passive Name [Mark of the devil]

"Units killed by Diablo have there soul claimed. Before descending to Hell Diablo forces the soul to remain behind and fight on his behalf."

 

 

In Depth Skill Explanation:

Units killed are respawned in the place of death as a ghost / specter. They are untargetable and unkillable. They deal a % of there originals damage. They are an exact clone of the original. Down to items for heroic units. Creep/ Light units last for 3 seconds. Heroic units last for 6 seconds. Claimed Souls will attack anything but have a priority on heroic units. They can move to get into attack range.

Demonic Flash [Q]

"Diablo disappears in a flash and repairs at a target location. Dealing damage and knocking up units in a small aoe. "

 

Level 1: Blink range 3, Deals 80 + 80% wep dmg

Level 2: Blink range 4, Deals 110 + 100% wep dmg

Level 3: Blink range 5, Deals 130 + 120% wep dmg

Level 4: Blink range 6, Deals 160 + 140% wep dmg

Soul Stealer [W]

"Passive - Diablo gains power for every claimed soul. He gains .5 wep dmg and 5 health. Heroic units give 5 wep dmg + 20 health

Active - Diablo' imbues his auto attacks with the claimed souls dealing spell damage in a 2 unit aoe for a duration"

 

Level 1: Attacks deal 10+ 50% int

Level 2: Attacks deal 20+ 50% int

Level 3: Attacks deal 30+ 50% int

Level 4: Attacks deal 40+ 50% int

Devils Trap [E]

"Diablo summons the fires of hell. Diablo cast an 3.5 unit aoe of fire that deals damage and slows for a duration. Enemies who remain in the inferno for 2 seconds become rooted for 2 seconds"

 

Level 1: Deals 25 + 25% int per second. Last 3 seconds

Level 2: Deals 35 + 25% int per second. Last 4 seconds

Level 3: Deals 45 + 25% int per second. Last 5 seconds

Level 4: Deals 55 + 25% int per second. Last 6 seconds.

 

In Depth Skill Explanation:

Enemies can not be rooted more then twice in a 15 second duration. Enemies can be rooted even if the fire duration runs out. The root is independent of the fire on the ground.

"Diablo grows in size gaining flat helth and summons a raging inferno the deals spell damage in a 5 unit aoe for 8 seconds"

 

Level 1: Gains 250 health and deals 75 + 20% int

Level 2: Gains 350 health and deals 125 + 20% int

Level 3: Gains 450 health and deals 175 + 20% int

Notes

 

This hero has many options and build paths. He can be a AD bruiser, Battle mage, A hybrid of the two. Or a tanky AOE spell dealer. The hero will be in the Strength class. I just threw up numbers randomly. They obviously can be adjusted. Let me know what you think of the skill set. Inspirations for this design come from Nasus of LOL, Tass of ROA, Ling of ROA

Very cool hero. The Q and E could very easily combo together for an AoE cc lock, and combined with his R dealing good AoE damage and giving him survivability, I think this hero would be quite good. Very a good initiator+AoE damage bruiser. Will probably be OP. :P

This hero to me feels like it doesnt belong in Starcraft or AoS... it's something straight out of Diablo.

 

I'd much prefer to keep AoS sci-fi based, not using demonic/fantasy type characters.

There aren't very many models left to use from what I can tell, I don't think we should be picky about that type of thing....

You're entitled to your opinion, as am I.

 

There are plenty of models left to pick from that are Starcraft themed, I just looked through them the other day when I was looking at fleshing out a new hero.

I normally post on mobile and its easier to see what he wrote while I'm replying if I quote it. On mobile its a paragraph instead of two lines :P
