Guz should be removed. He has been better recently I think. But he used to abuse the shap out of his mod powers. I have been banned and warned by him unjustly. And Red promptly removed the punishments.

 

Not to mention the guy glitches his bank file. Artificially increasing his win / loss + MMR. I been warned calling him out on it. I think skydie or Tax were banned for calling him out on it.

 

He uses his powers and threatens people in game saying he will ban from mumble / forum for the most silly reasons.

 

Not to mention when he bans people from Mumble he never sets a time limit. When I was a mod on mumble, I have personally unbanned people who were banned for 4-5 weeks because Guz doesn't set time limits then forgets a person is banned. Or he thinks there is a default time limit I dont know the case. Ignorance ? or Personal Vendettas you be the judge.

 

How a guy of this nature is in a position a power. A supposed "pillar" of the community just blows my mind. I agree EU needs moderation to represent there side of the community. But Guz is not it.

I've never had any run ins with Guz myself, but I sure do see a lot, and I mean a LOT of complaints about him. For a very long stretch, I might add, not just a small outburst.

 

I assume the powers that be know about it and are dealing with it. I would hope so, at least. Or has anyone ever brought it to their attention? Sounds like Quid talked to Red at least once or twice about it.

 

I question why Soed made a new account just to post this? Isnt his account unbanned here now?

I posted the screenshot to a mumble moderator, I guess Tax (Or whoever it is) just saw the link and posted the screenshot here.

 

I have no idea why Guz is a moderator and I feel he should have been demodded a long time ago, echoing the sentiment of Quidditch.

I see no contribution from this Guz guy what so ever and it seems like the only thing he ever done is play with a very select group of EU people on the Mumble and had never step outside of it as far as I know.

 

I understand the history of BM culture on EU community as I ran into problems with most of the EU wolf pack here and there ever since 4.0; however, I have to side with them this time since they are on the right.

 

As a community member, I also would like to see this moderator being removed and replace with members that are better help to the growth of the community, people like Spooky, African, or hell even Resitente (I cant sell his name) would be a better choice.

Ok this is going too far, just to clarify I did not kicked Soed, I wasn't the host. Soed is well known as master BM so he had his fan club who doesn't like him in lobby, I gave details just to the others mods about it.

 

Is just amazing how people who been banned for abusive behaviour comes to ask to moderate someone? With which face? Since this people never changes.

 

Example: Taxhaven how ever he received the screenshot like 10 min after he posted, he maked a faster smurf and posted, I knew this user should be banned for make an smurf to evade punishment in forums ( but some Moderator, changed the original name who posted for the real TaxHaven) GREAT.

 

So after this you see all the bunch of followers or people who just like soed (people of his clan) start commenting this post. (The most of the people who want me to be demoted by EU).

 

Quidd keeps butthurt keeps thinking he is perfect and can do whatever he wants since his best pal is one of the Admins or two of them, of course he has to always talk trash without known real reasons and puting up my first fails all the time, OP.

 

ZERATUL I did not inv you to spec my games Cuz of strategy part prepare for some surprise around league or whatever since I will play just official matches against your "Super" and since you are too sneaky is better like this.

 

Ohhh... Also remember I have the oldest clan in AOS alive and active at least with 3 constant member since I made it from sotis v2.0 or low and yeah it seems I'm not contribute in AOS right? Maybe some people is just envy to see my clan not dying at all. Maybe not the best, but there we are. ;)

Well you, as a moderator on the forum, and on mumble, stood by and watched it happen, that's just as worse as actually doing it yourself. If you are, as you say you are, contributing to this community, you should stand up against what's injust, regardless if you're an admin or not. Your personal vendettas shouldn't stop you from calling out injustice when you see it. - Shab

If you look in the screenshot, I do not actually say that you kicked me... I say that you *had* me kicked. Which you did.

The lobby host was Dare, a player from your DarKs clan, well known for raging antics on mumble. He also really, really doesn't like me.

 

I have issues with Dare, but I'm sure he has issues with me aswell, as a lot of users have issues with other users.

 

You, however, are not a mere user. You are a moderator. You had me kicked from the lobby and initially just wrote "Hahahhahaha" in the AoS chat, followed by your "Ignored :]" response to me in my PM that you can see in the screenshot.

 

I ask anyone reading to just think about this:

What if you are in an inhouse lobby and Adam(AtomiK), Ginosaji or hell even Wrath or Whale suddenly randomly kick someone from spectator slot just because they don't like them, and want to be a thorn in their side for some reason. It is going above and beyond simply to be a genuine nuisance.

It is absolutely pathetic and simply ludicrous.

I was banned not for specifically abusive behaviour, I would say, but moreso because I had a longstanding feud with people on the moderation staff aswell as some of them not approving of my concept of humour.

This is a classic example of ad-hominem, though. A post is made questioning your right to be a mod, and you attack the credibility of the person instead of their argument. Sad.

I agree making a smurf to post this was cowardly. I want to stress that I did not sanction this thread in any way.

What a ridiculous claim. A bunch of people who "just like me", and are "of my clan"? Lets go over who commented, not counting Whale:

 

Taxhaven, Aeren, Jaysi, Yaldi, Scrubadubnub, Quidditch, Zeratul, Grantypoo, Eternity, Moo, Adversary, Revolution.

I bolded people "of my clan" and italic'ed people who may "just like me".

A staggering 3 out of 12 - 25% may have been predisposed to agree with the general sentiment.

 

It would really do you good to at least acknowledge that, wow, people may actually be unhappy with some of the decisions you've made, instead of brushing it under the carpet and dismissing everyone as simply "people who like me" as that is, quite clearly, not the case.

You don't seem to understand that this isn't some kind of joke thread, do you? He posted a legitimate comment and again, instead of responding to the argument, you attack him as a person. "His critique of me is invalid because he doesn't like me", well boo-hoo, my friend. That is not how this works.

You are, if anything, demonstrating exactly why you shouldn't hold any form of power over anyone, with rebuttals like this.

I can't comment on the validity of this, since I don't know. But Zeratul is making it sound like you weren't inviting him to inhouse (not scrim) which would be completely ridiculous, whether what you write is truthful or not.

I don't know if you contribute a lot. Eternity hit the nail right on the head. You primarily hang around and play only with the same people every game - the rest of the time you aren't even on mumble in the inhouses. You exclude people daily from inhouses (if there are people you would rather invite) just like you rutinely utterly and totally fail to act as a moderator in ANY capacity. There can be massive flaming, screaming, ridiculous behaviour but you never act. Instead you save your "moderator energy" for when someone goes in your channel on mumble, so you can threaten to ban them if they don't leave. Hilarious.

 

I will admit I may simply not know of any "contributions" you've made outside of simply playing the game. I have no knowledge of any such thing, but perhaps they exist? Who knows?
