Cooldown reduction on int is kinda scary, but I actually like the change after playing with it. It makes cyprus more viable. It gives something unique, since just having weapon damage for your stat's extra thing was kind of ineffectual for casters. There are those who feel like they are stupidly good with the change (raynor), but for the most part I like it.

I don't think the extra like 10-15% cooldown from the primary INT stat is the main cause of this. Seems like its just that Raynor's ult at level 3 has a ridiculously low cooldown for the damage it does. I have actually felt a 5-7 second cd for his ult in a game.

That's over 3000 spell damage every 30 seconds on average.... + mark 25% damage = 3750 + argus crystal is it? Ah you do the calculations... its op

PS Its 4350/30 seconds

This is also true. However, its more like 25% ish cooldown reduction I believe. I had about 500 int on dustin with 5 int items (ihan argus gravity yamato seeds), which gives 20% cdr just from int.

A fully geared Darpa can do just as much if not more damage compare to Raynor.

Of course... all dps carries can deal much more damage than any other hero in the game, given enough time or peel. That's why they're called dps. The complaint is not about raynor's dps, but about his burst.

 

Anyway, I get the feeling that Whale plans to nerf some of the new things accordingly, because there are a lot of int heroes who have some problems with cooldowns.

sounds to me like ppl are begging for an intel nerf instead of a specific hero nerf, when all complains seem to be based on a single hero....I like a lot the cdr on intel and it makes intel more viable.

 

Raynor is a particular case since his range + damage and even his coooldowns were already borderline op BEFORE the new patches...nothing some minor tweaks in his base cooldowns cannot fix. IMO its just the ulti cd that needs fixing.

the cdr isn't my problem per say. but I would like raynors silence duration reduced. with max cdr he has always been able to keep players silenced with only a 1 sec delay inbetween. this of course being if he can hit his silence shot both times. with his ultimate though, to reduce the over all damage as a bust. change his bonus damage if they are so low on hp. to a damage over time instead of straight up.

Insane how some people believe that the no-capped cdr on INT is balanced right now. Not only is raynor broken with it but every INT caster is stronger now than before. Just cap CDR and nerf raynor. #SensibleBalancing

 

insane how people believe that now that intel characters you used to ignore now have actually some pressence in the game they are op LOL!!!

 

every intel except raynor and maar and some others like jakk or the typical ones was sub par before the patch. Now they are actually a threat but the previous good ones became a bit op....they just have to be reworked as they are slowly being reworked.....stukov....vessel too....every character is getting a rework apparently or some tweaks so don´t sweat it.

 

now casters cast and they are good at it....agi attacks with high dps and tanks can tank well....you are just not used to buying.....gasp.....spell resist early on.....you are used to getting all your dps and then maybe some hp item. (I´m assuming you come from an agi perspective since tanky heroes don´t complain too much about this). You just have to get some resist + hp early on and a form of sustain (hp regen, leech, etc) instead of waiting for darwins like you used to. When you say intel characters please see the characters database and count them one by one. If you really think every single one of them is op because of SOME CDR based on intel stats I don´t want to imply anything but....seek advice from those who don´t seem to have a problem.

 

Notice now many aa endgame items do have spell resist incorporated like the NEW DARWIN among others so as you reach those stages you can survive intel characters easily. As for early on after the early machetes or hatchets and some half component of a dps item I would strongly advice you to buy spell resist till its where you want to...the basic component is only 700 minerals and if you donpt want it later just sell it (but better turn it into endgame gear)

 

You can easily buy several and get 50% spell resist early game. That + your leech and even raynor may go out of energy wasting spells on you. Just donpt present yourself as an easy target. I play intel a lot and the best way to get kills is clicking the tab button and checking gear. My first target is agi with no resists. Then other intel but they may spell back to me so I would gank em as cyprus or something like that. But in general agi early on cant counter much. Easy to harass until they can get resists. Early resists diminish dramatically your chances of getting kills or making them retreat (until you get gravity) and then they can still grab a high hp item instead of a full damage one.

 

My point is. Critic is not always the way to go. Many ppl opt for a less dps but safer way to build aa when many casters are on the oposing team. Slips? galactic? darwins? I think even the new contam shard is good all around but can´t remember if it gives spell res or only armor.

 

Lots of cdr mean nothing if your spells tickle, but yeah raynor is a whole different thing, but you tend to have a grudge vs intel IMO cause you donpt want too get spell res early

@heimdallr Clock isn't some noob, he knows what he's talking about. I'm not sure that completely agree, just because int have to be very strong to counteract aa getting high amounts of each resist and good hp from their items, which is completely retarded IMO, but I definately see his point and I agree to a certain extent.

I'm not sure that completely agree, just because int have to be very strong to counteract aa getting high amounts of each resist and good hp from their items, which is completely retarded IMO, but I definately see his point and I agree to a certain extent.

 

though i "in general" see his point and I don´t call him a noob, I do notice now a.attackers have items that provide nice resists as well without sacrificing that much damage compared to the alternatives since they are kinda good all around items. I also didn´t say its just about to get some spell resist and you are inmune! please. Its a mitigation thing, not an A + click thing (at least not til later in the game). Also, though intel can get damage and faster cd with intel there´s not much to a defensive aspect of those items so you might as well find an opening or send your own intel on a hunting. Still for me the problem is more on certain heroes already mentioned.Plus I already feel the raynor rework comming next week.....or month whatever but it should come soon since its one of the complained about heroes.

 

Also I remember reading somewhere about more of this "bruiser" kind of hero. As a type I mean. Maybe some aa´ers will be getting tankier and that should mitigate the early intel raping for those who don´t want to buy so much resist.

 

 

OH AND VERY IMPORTANT!! I DON´T PLAY LEAGUE! ACTUALLY LIKE MORE THE PACE OF AOS!!!

 

Oh btw yeah since I DO have noticed more intel early ownage I always run the double talents now (armor and spell armor) and that should help a lot since its basically a starting resist item? I don´t like playing agi so you / him may be right but I just commented based on playing intel vs some guys that just wouldn´t die so I clicked tab and found a certain patterns. Still experimenting with openings and builds btw and I don´t consieder myself pro or anything. salute you.

I'm fine with int having ridiculous cdr, because aa gets ridiculously tanky for being an aa.
