I have been playing around with ideas for more switch mode heroes myself. I think more implementation of this concept with new heroes would be great.

 

That bEing said, I like erekual where he is. If you make him switch mode damage and heal he would be pretty worthless as an anti AA melee tank. Only way I see it being half viable is with a huge buff to his q base dmg and scaling.

Don't play lol but Udyr sounds like a super fun concept to try out, kinda like morphling with str/agi morph being like the stances and Singed sounds a bit like alch in the ult and aoe. It would be awesome if those type of heroes get put in since it takes a bit of skill to manage them and play properly. Plus theyre not youre run of the mill a click carry so thats a bonus.

Overall Erekul is pretty boring imo. He is also not that good right now, and that combo means he is never played. Nova is just as boring, but she can get kills like no other (especially with the op grass...). Anyway, I'd like to see a change to his ult and W making them more interesting.

 

 

I agree. It would require his heal and damage output to be increase. But once increased he would be viable again. And more fun.

Make his W a DoT spell and nerf the dmg reduction on it and add leech reduction. So a combo of Dot, Leech reduction, and dmg reduction for the enemy. This would make the W more fun to use and more powerful 1v1 a carry. or instead of adding leech reduction you could just make the attack receive additional dmg if they attack erekul.

 

 

W (target enemy) - DoT 15,30,45,60 [+10% Int] per sec for 3 secs. If erekul is attacked (auto attacks or spell dmg) while the DoT dmg is still active, 1 stack is added to the DoT. Each stack adds .5 secs of DoT not to exceed 4 stacks (a total of 2 secs added to the length of the spell) that makes lvl 4 = 300 total possible dmg + scaling. W also reduces the wep dmg of the enemy by 10,15,20,25%.

 

You would have to attack erekul 4 times within 3 seconds for the full stack count to be added. This would still be an effective tool for him to prevent heroes from attacking him, but giving him a target-able ability that does dmg other than his ulti.

 

The 10% scaling only adds about 10 dmg per sec per 100 int. so lvl 4 would be 350 spell dmg over 5 secs, or 210 spell dmg over 3 secs..
