SickofOP
Can we please have the option to have different hotkeys for items? I don't want to just be using the numbers keys off to the side, I'd like the option to use letters as well, or even numbers above the keys. I'm not sure if this is available right now, but I think it'd help players, and help improve the quality of games with players effectively using the items. Just a thought, if you support it or have something to say, feel free to post.

MrGrim
Theres a bug where if you shift que ability commands, the command doesn't work. For example, I shift clicked grunty to a camp and shift qued his w to to trap a spot. For the rest of the game w got remapped to center on hero and the ability didn't work anymore. Figgonson
MrGrim i have never had that problem before. It sounds like an isolated issue, i have actually done the exact thing you are describing and it works fine
MrGrim
I dunno, it happened once with darpa r and shadows q before I stopped shift queing commands.
NeVeRWiN
Seeing that you didn't know how to adjust hot keys, or that they were even available to change, you can also change your ping to the old school brood war style AKA quick ping in the menu. Just a friendly fyi, because when they changed it to alt, g, click it was pretty annoying. As well as adjust your entire key stroke menu to whatever you want. A doesn't have to be attack, and so forth.
Figgonson
how do you change the ping? ive gotten used to it now, but i think i would rather go back to the old school style of pinging.

Ironsights
just make a hotkey profile in the battlenet menus to use in AOS, set the keys to whatever you like.
NeVeRWiN
how do you change the ping? ive gotten used to it now, but i think i would rather go back to the old school style of pinging. F10, options, hotkeys, then click global settings. From there you go to unit management, and change quick ping to, alt + left mouse click. But make sure you delete the regular "ping minimap" hotkey so it's blank, it has potential to cause conflictions if you have it deleted and you use the "quick ping". Hanedog
Why is ping being brought up? I never even thought about it being difficult. In fact, its so easy/reactionary that I can't even figure it out unless I'm in-game haah.
SickofOP
Awesome thanks guys ;) I can't wait to try it haha. It's too difficult to use inventory items with the hotkeys with my keypad to the right of my keys. Requires I take my hand off the mouse and that does me no good lol. Hanedog
I hotkey all inventory slots to #2-#4 (usually don't need more than 3 active items) and #1 I use for centering on my hero. They are very easy to move your fingers too from the QWER of the hero's abilities. Edited February 28, 2014 by Hanedog

Sora
Anyone know how to change f and d to other key?
Mus
Just make a new hot key profile like people have already said. Assign f or d to an item slot and once a item with an active is placed in such a slot, the f and d functions will be overriden. Personally I use the d key as one active item slot, so I have to click the port button instead. But if you want to assign port to a key other than d then I can't really help, I don't know how to do that or if it's even possible.

MrGrim
Hold fire is pretty glitchy at least for me, I have to pretty much spam it or it works and then stops when a new creep or whatever comes in range.
