Hogwarts
This hero is pretty impressive.I really enjoy his skill set. The q and r just stand out to me as extremely fun to use.It would be neat if AOS could get some interesting mechanics like these.Dehaka is fun in his own right. But the hero is linear in his game play. With more or less zero innovative game play. Immortal is absolutely worse.

Hogwarts
Tl:dr Lets copy another LoL mechanic! No, Lets be inspired to think out side the box instead of reusing old mechanics with a slight alteration. Also Stukov is more or less a copy of a DOTA hero..... Hogwarts
I dont play dota, but stukov is very similar to brand Yea true that. He is also extremely close to Lich from dota I honestly dont mind borrowing mechanics from other games. LOL has a lot of great mechanics that im in love with that u dont see in AOS
EterNity
TIL, DotA, DotA 2, and LoL have similar hero.

residente
Stukov isn't like lich. He can give allies an armor and his ult is also a bounce shap that deals "high" damage.
Hogwarts
Stukov isn't like lich. single target nuke with a slowing effect attached to it allie buff same ult. Can you know, Like stop following me around consistently trying to irk me. What are you ? A soed 2.
MrGrim
Alot of these heroes have similar skill set, brine = batrider+nyx, rory = with doctor, drake = pudge, erekul = necrolyte, jackson = magnus. If it gets adopted and its fun to play who cares where the inspiration came from John
Yaldi
Lich's defining ability is his sacrifice. He is valued because he can deny 1/5th of the creep wave every wave. Stukov is good due to his harrasment in lane single target slow and single tarhet burst. His ally buff is more similar to living armour aswell and you cant stack it on half your team. The ultis are very similar but the overall concept is different. P.s. quidditch don't flatter yourself

Adamantium
Its just a matter of word usage, but I believe Quidditch was simply referring to the similarity of certain abilities not the playstyle of the hero in his comparison between lich and stukov. this hero looks extremely enjoyable to play with a good set of both pros and cons combining an interesting skill set with the ability to have both innovative game play and counters. LightZOut
There isn't really any shame in utilizing mechanics that other games of the same genre use. While blindly copy-pasting abilities without altering properties certainly does imply significant lack of creativity, familiarity is a potent force that can help player audiences recognize in-game hero designs. Hopeful there is a central balance that can be struck. Sorry for thread derailment! "Geometry" makes Vel'Koz's Q so useful! BestZeratul
While Yaldi isn't being very civil he has a point, Lich's defining ability is the sacrifice, it is what makes the hero unique and it's what he is picked for in competitive games.
