ANARCHY
this is a work in progress but if anyone has something useful to add please post it up and keep in mind this has nothing to do with balance or that you think zera is broken True Dmg - no kill awarded etc Fix: replace true dmg mechanic with a "fake true dmg" mechanic which is actually just fancy spell dmg and have it work like so; scenario; enemy hero has 40% spell resist you have gravity edge (30% true dmg) you deal 200 spell dmg to enemy hero this would result in 60 true dmg being applied along with 120 spell dmg after the mitigation instead we now work it like so; (spell dmg * true dmg percentage)/spell resist of target)= spell dmg applied on top of normal spell dmg ((200*.3)60/.6) = 100 spell dmg after mitigation it will become 60 which is exactly the same amount of dmg it does currently basically this eliminates the need for a true dmg type in the game, but will work exactly the same you will see no real difference but the bug will be fixed DoT persisting through death - causes aggro to be maintained (also related to the no kill & loss of abilities bug) just make the pool give off a eternal drive unique to any allied hero that enters the area to clear all the debuffs Edited February 26, 2014 by ANARCHY
PeterHell
Wouldn't that cause you to keep doing extra spell dmg until it reaches 0 or w.e It's turtle all the way down
Hogwarts
Normally when the No Kill bug happens is when the AOS game client kills the hero. AOS constantly applies spell and physical damage to your hero. In minor amounts this is so the game can constantly check your spell and physical resist and display it in your character card. Some times this dmg can actually be the finishing blow in a kill unfortunately thus no kill is awarded and every one involved gets the assist. But i could be wrong
ANARCHY
the no kill bug happens due to; true dmg resist calc killing you DoT effect killing you as it trys to give you 100% resists and teleports you to pool to simulate death this bug also has an effect on some heroes abilities causing them to be un-learnt

But i could be wrong The true dmg is more prevalent when you play as Nova and try to Q with hatchet sometime you don't get extra bounty because true dmg kill the the creep instead of nova or Q
