The changes listed below will be updated to our beta map titled "Aeon of Storms (Test)" in order to examine their impact:

 

-Does Arcbound Ravager & Ancient Rune feel more viable now?

 

-Are Siege Creeps in a better place?

 

-Has your game performance improved with most of the tree animation removed (or maybe not at all?).

 

Please keep in mind that none of the changes listed are final, so further adjustments may be made in the process.

- Removed Haven Tree Animation.

 

Transport

- Cast Time reduced to 6 seconds from 8.

 

 

Arcbound Ravager

- Recipe Cost reduced to 500 from 800.

 

Ancient Rune

- Decay increased to 5% Spell Damage from 3.

 

Neutral Creeps

- Removed FireBat DoT Debuff.

- Neutral Creeps gain +10 HP Regen after not getting damaged for 3 seconds.

 

Time Splitter

- Reduced Evasion to 20% from 30.

 

Carriers/Swarm Host

- Base Damage reduced to 80 from 110.

- Increased Bonus Damage (to Structures) to 80 from 55.

- Health reduced to 1200 from 1500.

- Bounty reduced to 40 from 50.

 

Bugs

- Fixed Bounty for Zerg Ranged Suppressors

- Fixed Stukov's Living Armor animation to disappear properly.

 

Cain

Nitrogen Round

- Reduced Stun Duration to 1/1.3/1.6/1.9 seconds from 1.8/2.2/2.6/3.

 

Dehaka

- Base Movement Speed reduced to 2.9 from 3.

Wonderful changes in the right direction, especially Firebat, transport and the Siege creeps.

 

But honestly, I think the problem with Ancient Rune has less to do with percentage of damage and more with the fact that it scales with current HP instead of max HP. The item should be a potent alternative to Gravity and the INT equivalent of Pyre.

 

Regardless, can't wait to try this out.

What was the thinking behind taking away the firebat's DoT? Was it for nerfing mk pushing power with it? If so I think the change is great, but if it to make jungling easier I don't like it, :). Glad to see the buffs to arcbound, transport, and rune, and I'm glad to see the nerf to timesplitter. Lower evasion will help a lot, but I'm not sure if it will still be too powerful. It will probably be fine, since it is so expensive, but it still feels so powerful.

 

On a side note, I think the idea of telling what the patch will be ahead of time is an amazing idea. It allows you to make sure the community agrees with the changes and it makes sure that no changes are way off base, like when siege creeps were first introduced and they were insanely powerful and provided little gold when killed. I hope you continue to allow us to preview and give feedback on patches before they are made live.

Just curious as to why Cain's stun duration was reduced? I know the damage break was removed, is it just a quick fix until damage break gets re implemented because i liked that mechanic better than just a straight up stun.

 

agree, it brough more options to the game, now it's just another nobrainer

the regen wont do anything to change jungling...

 

I thought it might hurt early game jungle for solo ranged since they amove back, and the regen might kick in. But since its 3 seconds i guess it doesnt do much so yeah youre right. Dont know why that would be implemented then.

The debuff from firebat hardly makes a difference when you jungle anyway..

 

After the first wave of jungeling u'll have a machette, and unless ur around 100 hp you'll be able to take the firebat camp regardless if there's a debuff or not on the bat.

 

 

The jungeling issue needs to be adressed in another ways...

 

I'd really like the hear the reasoning from devs behind giving the most xp as well as mineral gain / minute doing something as easy jungeling.

cain got the nerf because his stun was no longer breaking on damage. Full duration stun while taking hits from his max'd attack or stacking ulti was too much, so now the duration is shorter.

And???? =)))

No need nerf Cain, a lot of heroes more OP than Cain right now (Nova, Darpa, omg a lot.... )

And how will to 1 shot kill with Q+R???

Cain need buff, not nerf...

OP heroes:

1) shadow - vortex to op - need to nerf

2) zera - I would reduced the radius of his ulti

3) Garamond E (turrets) - reduce damage for towers

4) Lethal barb - increase cost to 3000 or 3300 (for nerf Nova...)

5) And ofс need think about Egon, that hero should be completely reworked...

6) Barbed plating: 25% reflect like spell and 25% like true damage, will be nice. Mb increase cost. But right now it is useless item.
