NJsteez
Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums, so forgive me for any violations... however I'm not new to AoS. Or should I say SotIS, I've recently re-introduced myself to the game after be away from it for too long. I'd be grateful of you all if you could provide me with a current/proper IH guide for Toxi. The others I've checked out on here feel out-dated or look like trolls. I have some builds I put together from information gathered here that I would also like to share with you and get your feedback. These are just several various heroes I enjoy playing; these builds I feel to fit my play style. *Sarah.Kerrigan talents - 2/3/1 - Might, Fury, Fitness, Discipline, Integrity, & Swiftness items(these are just end-game in no particular order) - Pyre, FoE, Shadowmourne, Darwin's, DST, & Contamination *Vorpal.Valedict talents - 1/4/1 - Might, Fitness, Discipline, Integrity, Fortify, & Swiftness items - Korhal, DST, Nitrogen, Gravity Edge, Organic, & LifeTech *Molgoo.Grunty talents - 2/1/3 - Might, Fury, Fitness, Swiftness, Youth, & Wealth items - FoE, Pyre, Shadowmourne, TS, Contamination, & Galactic *Gabriel.Tosh talents - 2/1/3 - Might, Fury, Fitness, Swiftness, Youth, & Wealth items - FoE, Pyre, Shadowmourne, Sliptide Scythe, Galactic, & TS *Rory.Swann talents - 0/3/3 - Fitness, Discipline, Integrity, Swiftness, Youth, Wealth items - Lockbox, Koral, Chilling, Ihan, Organic, & Sunflare Any comments/improvements are appreciated. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this and providing a guide for Toxi.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this and providing a guide for Toxi. welcome back! im currently writing a lot of guides but i havent wrote any for aa heroes, just because there is not that much difference between them .... toxi is a aa hero with range, he offers good slows and damage over time effects, he doesnt have any real escapes tho .... (except of his passive) u can either play him as a caster or aa carry .... i have to say i havent played him as caster tho ... i would either run 2/1/3 talents (with energy and wealth) or use fortify fortify because your ultimate has incredible teamfights potential but u have to survive to do damage .... usually u lane with another stun/slow his strength is that he also does spell and nice physical damage without any items. i would max E first and Q next .... other than that hes not played very different than other carrys ... only that he can kite better than other heroes because of his dot/slow effect i like to go machette>stun knife>pulse hammer> pyre(usually)>forces of entropy because forces of entropy will allow u to kite/slow even better plus makes u more tanky about your builds: vorpal: i like to use those talents too, usually i go goggles>buckler>korhal>goggles into situational core items: korhal gravity (+dst/lifetech/chilling) grunty: i usually go 3/1/2 (veteran plus energy) core items: pyre, shadowmourne, time splitter tosh: same talents u have, core items: pyre shadowmourne foe rory: either 0/2/4 or 0/4/2 core items: lb, korhal, ihan/chilling Edited February 6, 2014 by Straighter
herman
I would agree with Straighter except for a small difference. Usually I finish FOE before getting Pyre. FOE allows for more HP, which in an IH is usually a good thing, and 2 for more slow. The reason I say finish FOE first because combined with stun knife and the slow from his his E passive and Q you shut down their important hereo's very easily allowing your team to have more time to set up killshots, surrounds, and combos in the early game. The only time I go Pyre first is if my team's jungler is Boros as he typically doesn't get pyre or not until other core items like cloak are purchased. The reason I would get it here is because it forces the other team's tanks to think twice before staking HP.

ANARCHY
toxi anti aa hero build; 2/1/3 talents might fury fitness swiftness youth wealth machete graviton booster (dont upgrade it early you dont need any more wep speed then this to lock an enemy down) pulse hammer goggles upgrade graviton booster to stun knife next is dependant upon enemy heroes upgrade pulse hammer to FoE if they are getting away upgrade goggles to chilling if your vs high wep speed low-ish dmg heroes get sliptyde scythe if you need spell resist after that get darwins might & upgrade to time splitter last item is situational generally you will want something tanky like super heated mantle / shinobi / galactic abilities; Q is fairly straight forward deals damage over time, kills people that are running away, you dont need to max this first but it can be handy W is one of toxis great abilities -35% wep speed to enemies that attack you, combined with chilling watch any AA hero cry E is good early game but falls off once you have pulse hammer and no more then 2-3 points in this is required early R is like a built in AoE pyre, you can cloak after using this ability if you have shinobi and just hug your enemy while they cry, then uncloak and aa them once and they dead alot of people buy pyre for toxi and i dont really think its needed, he has his ulti to kill tanks etc and it will be off CD before the enemy is rdy to engage again your main priority is to have the aa heroes attack you, bait them into it & maintain enough survivability to see your ulti through its entire duration
ginosaji
Welcome to the forums! I didn't read the comments so far, I didn't have much time... Builds for Toxi are heavily dependent on why your team drafted him. The main issue you want to consider is how much your team will be relying on him for Physical damage out. The more you are needed as a carry, the more AA you want to go. That said, he can be an exceptionally effective AA/Caster because of his ULT. Here are two builds I've done with him. 2-3-1 with Might, Fury, Vigor, Fitness, Zeal, Swiftness Machete>Pulse Hammer>Pyre>Force of Entropy>Shadowmourne>Galactic Defender This build is a pretty standard AA build for him. It's pretty dang tanky, especially once you have galactic. Galactic also helps you bomb the enemy with your ULT, making sure they sit in it for as long as possible. Force of Entropy is an a really strong item on him because of his built in slow (E/Q). It really helps especially mid game when heroes haven't really gotten mobility items like shard, menace, shinobi, etc yet. Zeal is an exceptionally strong talent on Toxi because his passive gives him movespeed on low HP. At low HP with Zeal, you can get to like 4.3-4.5 movespeed, which is a pretty awesome escape/kite mechanic. 1-4-1 Might, Fitness, Vigor, Zeal, Fortify, Swiftness. This build is focused mainly on doing damage with your Ult in Teamfights and not primarily being an AA. Machete>Pulse>Pyre>Force>Nitrogen Retrofit>Shadowmourne/Galactic. Again, Toxi is best as a Tanky anti-AA so HP is good, which this build has alot of. On top of that, fortify is insanely powerful. Bomb the enemy team, pop your fortify and watch as you tank an entire team's damage out for 5 seconds while they sit in your uber slow of Force of Entropy/Nitrogen Retrofit/Your E/Your Q. herman
@ Straight ... you are right it is more common to build Pyre first I just like to have the extra slow for my team ... but as Gino said its mostly what your team needs
