@ Skydie 4,2 version and he was like that for months, he wasn't just extremely strong, he was the easiest hero ever as people would die chasing you. Literally required 0 skill to do fine with.

Probably isn't that many ih ppl around on EU or NA if ur looking for familiar faces.

Is it bad that I on my first return to Sotis in 2011 (first attempted ended in 2010 ended in my rqing after less than a handful of games and going to Golem wars/BC/ladder), I was raping buying random items without any knowledge and not even knowing about skills lol. I swear the only competition in pubs at the time was the race to click Toxi :D I forgot how he worked but there was something about him going invisible or w/e. I promptly quit again as a result of Toxi being the only hero I could 'play' (I was raging heroes like Cyprus would 1 hit me but I could never 1 hit anyone) before my glorious return in mid 2012.

Not really sure which version I started but it was probably pretty early. My earliest memories were that there weren't any stats, items had no hotkeys and you sometimes had to click them multiple times for them to work. And bloody toxi had that toggleable slow attack and invisibility passive(no poison cloud though) while you had to click your stupid boundary scanners.

I don't remember the exact version of game but I'm from sotis for sure. Before metal and desert terrain.

Toxi with invisibility was soooooooo OP. Fun thing that there was so little quantity of heroes and that was enough. Drake with magnitude, LordZ/Zera with Chrono dagger - that was great.

Which was the version when Toxi was so imbalanced it must have been done on purpose?

Iirc, it was actually a bug fix in 4.2 on his ultimate dealing far less damage than it should have (no scaling or something, I think the same "buff" that was made to Cow).

I was here since Garamond summoned a giant Drakken laser drill that covered like a quarter of the map with its range, Zeratul could send people back 5 seconds in time, and Cyprus ran around at light speed with Analyze. I miss those completely over-the-top hero designs.
