John
Once upon a time, vorpal required mechanical skill in terms of last hitting and denying to obtain orbs. I really liked that concept as it was a unique mechanic, and it rewarded people who actually just don't sit afk during laning phase... Whenever or vorpal gets reverted or if this is implemented on a new hero I'd like to see the concept reinvented in some way. zeeeend
Agreed, but i´d say increase the fun. Orbs gained from denie get + 10% and from kills 50% effect. ginosaji
Apocalyptic
I haven't really enjoyed playing Vorpal since they changed the Orb spawn mechanic. The orb for kills mechanic was so much more dynamic, this new implementaion is simply a shared cooldown for all your spells. It is a limitation, not a useful ablility to have on a hero. I consider it a weakness of Vorpal. Just another example of taking away a player's options in the name of balance. I would not mind seeing up to max orbs auto-spawn every 20-30 seconds though, so even if you aren't able to get creeps you still get orbs slowly. Before they auto-spawned to 3 orbs with each orb spawning in like 8-12 seconds, that would be ok with me too. aletoledo
Agreed, but i´d say increase the fun. Orbs gained from denie get + 10% and from kills 50% effect. Can't there be more purpose added to denying overall? I think I read that it used to deny experience, which was too brutal for new people. Why can't there be more of a purpose to denying for everyone else and not just vorpal.
Hanedog
While this is a great game, I agree that the hero changes the dev's have made really seem to take the dynamic style of AOS and dumb it down for all players to enjoy. There were many heroes in the past (Darpa- turrets and Stevie- health/mana boxes and Laser Drill, are good examples) where knowing the ins and outs of a hero gave the user the ability to get creative. A lot of the creativity has been removed from the game ie. most heroes have a specific timing they stick to whether it be about farming, order of skill casts, items... everything remains very static... There are only a few heroes that provide a bit of dynamic gameplay (Raynor- raider micro, Tosh- spectre micro) but the game really seems to be pushing towards a contest of the button-mashers. Maybe I am wrong and as I do not really IH, I am sure the dynamics of the metagame have changed drastically, but on an individual level, stupid people can play this game. As an avid long time AOS/SotIS supporter, I must say that I dislike the way changes have made heroes more static in their roles and abilities. Then again, better players will always beat worse players, no matter how simple something gets so this game is fulfilling that requirement... But for someone who has invested so much time (playing-although development would be fun :)) into this game, I am saddened to see the excitement from playing individual heroes, starting to fade. TungVu
Can we just reupload the 4.2 sotis map. It's the most fun and balanced version in the history of this game.

EterNity
It is "too hard" for your average casual players. It will not be re-implanted in anyway as our developers are working to make AoS noob friendly and is enjoyable by everyone even though it means to kill competitive scene. After all, the majority of the people play Arcade in Starcraft II just trying to relax after intense and quality ladder games.
Hanedog
EterNity? When was the last time you played in ladder games? Just curious haha.
