Primitus
Hi Everyone, I've been playing AoS for a while now but, never got around to making an account on the forums until now. I'm a decent player having both LoL and Dota experience but, I don't by no means consider myself as being "Pro". My in-game name is Primitus, but I also have an alternative account named AsianLoveDr that I let my friends use because they don't want to go out and buy the game themselves (they're cheap <.<) Some you may have seen me around playing the AoS or even as far back as Sotis. So a little about myself. I currently live in the United States, Colorado if you want to get specific. I'm a Korean-American (so watch out :p) and I see myself as being a fairly friendly person (just don't piss me off :D). I'm a 18 year old high school student currently, but after high school I, hopefully, intend on becoming an Aerospace Engineer. The characters I like playing are mostly any of the agility based champions, but I'm trying slowly get myself to being able to use any champion. I also joined the forums to expand my knowledge of AoS and maybe if I eventually get fairly proficient join a Team. Well, that's me if any you guys have any other questions fell free to ask me. I'm an open book! Edited December 24, 2013 by Primitus
Yaldi
Get on mumble. Find helpful people, avoid guz/dark knight he is bm, find people to pub with. Try not to bother people playing inhouses unless you know them. Since you are american look out for ginosaji he is probably the nicest person in na and he knows his stuff. Most importantly take qny bm from people light heartedly they probably dont mean it. And if they do mean it laughing is the best response :p
Primitus
Nice to meet you Yaldi. I've never used mumble, but it seem that this community uses it a lot to find other players and also find pubs. I'll probably end up downloading. Been playing lot of AoS recently. It's an addicting game.
Skydie
I tease engineering students about this all the time: Nice to meet you by the way. Just like Fanta Pantz over there, you won't meet many people with two X chromosomes here, but will meet many people with an extra autosome. Yeh anyhows to get better on here just download Mumble and go into the AoS chat channel on bnet (by clicking Aeon of storms and joining chat). Spam LF IH abit occasionally and just join a mumble channel with many people in to get invited into IH. NA IHS 99 times out of 100 are more welcoming than EU ones, I'd be on the lookout for Mus/Apache/Quidditch (when on)/Luckiest/Rango/Aeren to invite you into IHs. By the way what's your SC2 ladder league? Your Asians which automatically makes you good ,in addition to this statistically the better players on here tend to be Plat+ in ladder. PS: People here do rage a lot. It takes a while but you eventually become immune to the swearing/hate and laugh it out. Although I will BM you if you have an epiphany; deciding to join the other team in all but name as their 6th man and carry them to victory. Primitus
I've haven't played SC2 Ladder this season only, because I'm been playing mostly playing moba type games. I usually end up on Platinum or Gold league, but i am a bit rusty. I just finished downloading Mumble so hopefully I can find some friendly people out there. Moo
I agree with Yaldi, ginosaji is a great guy and he knows what he is talking about, if you can catch him while he is online he is normally happy to help. I can also party with you, I know builds for most of the heroes in the game and have general knowledge about the current meta, and I'm always up for partying. :)

I usually end up on Platinum or Gold league, but i am a bit rusty. Being rusty at ladder is pretty irrelevant, it's just that people who are able to reach a good standard in ladder generally have a higher APM. For AoS this allows them to do more combos, read the minimap, micro units better, aim skill shots with greater accuracy and on the whole are faster at using item actives. I've recently seen Plats/Dias join and believe me they've improved much faster than bronze level players. Judging by that then I'd say you're on a track to becoming a far more adept player really quickly! Hit me up for some games today or later this week. I'm Syzygy/Skydie/troll :) Edited December 24, 2013 by Skydie Primitus

Mus
To get invited to inhouse games look out for the following people on Mumble: Apache, Highdrater, Quidditch, Ginosaji, myself and to a lesser extent Lolita, Aeren, Revision, TexasRaider. I am pretty much the only guy from EU who welcomes players to inhouse games (If you didn't play in the previous game then you are guaranteed a spot in the next game). I have to say that Rango, Luckiest and Guz are from EU and they do not follow the same system that is used on NA, their rule is that if you played in the previous game then you are guaranteed a spot in the next game. Anyone else has to wait indefinitely before they can play. I hope to see you playing inhouse games with us on the NA server. Please, do not waste your time with trying to inhouse on the EU server, those people are backwards and will not let you in. The only EU mod we have (Guz) follows the same backwards rule so it's unlikely that we will be seeing a change in EU mentality any time soon. ginosaji
Welcome to the forum! Glad you made the leap. I strongly advise getting on to mumble if you wish to be more serious/improve your game. Inhouses are the only real way to improve anything other than base mechanics. It will teach you laning, teamfight, positioning, etc. Most people on mumble are enjoyable company, although there are a few people I find dislike-able, such is the case with any social group. Anyway, get on, let people know you're new and get in a game!
