Moo
My good friend Doug has recently started using int-burst builds on assassin heroes in pubs. He has also made it work on tosh because he was fed and his spectres attacks scale off int, so he could burst and dps, but I don't think it was as effective on as on assassins. The heroes it worked best with were ling, zeratul, shadow, balrog, and justicar. Important Note: no int heroes were used with the build because the intention of it is to be as troll as possible. On to the actual build used to troll and carry games by building int on heroes you aren't supposed to: Talents: Weapon Damage, Health, Youth, Swiftness, Wealth. Last talent is whatever you want. The point of this talent build is to maximize your early game and to synergize with the playstyle of this build by allowing a fast flare gun, good weapon damage for all-ins, hp to survive, youth to spam skills and help with sunflare damage, and swiftness for mobility (obviously). Item Build: Start with the two parts of flare gun and nothing else (you want to get flare gun ASAP, and it is possible to get it by level 2-3), lightning rod (cheap early attack speed, burst, and gives great farming potential), Star's Fury (your main damage tool besides sunflare), Sunflare Gun (your huge burst tool that finishes off opponents and gives you the ability to take somebody from 100-0 instantly if you can use it quickly), Energy Saber (when you get this item it should be about the time when you have to take towers quickly to get them at all, and this gives you the damage to do so besides giving a lot of extra burst for the assassinations), Gravity Edge (this makes your spell damage increase greatly and shreds through resists), Yamato Reactor (increases your spell damage, gives movespeed to chase/run, and increases attack speed for dps, great item), and the last item is dependant on what hero you are playing and who the enemy team is. Last items can be: parallax (let's you burst without getting flobed by cc), timesplitter (lets you lock down your target so they can't answer to your burst), and Cerebro (this isn't a must-have because it doesn't add as much burst, the farming potential falls off, and dps isn't the main goal of the build, so other items are better. That being said it is still a decent item for lategame, it is mainly personal preference). There are many other last items, these are just some ones that are good with almost all the heroes that use this build. Playstyle: This is the most important part of the build, and it will completely determine how well you do. You need to be as selfish and cowardly as possible. Last hit the jungle camps on purpose on the first jungle camp to get fast flare gun. Last hit heroes to get ahead and snowball with huge burst. Leave your team to die if the situation doesn't give a chance for a kill. You need to get fed, or your effectiveness will be greatly reduced. If you fall behind, just sit back and burst low heroes to get back into the game. This build shines once you get star's fury since this makes your burst very strong and it will take your enemies by suprised. At the beginning of the game, play safe until you have flare gun and an opportunity presents itself. Since you are playing in a pub, chances are that your opponents will not respect your early burst with flare gun, and stay in lane when low. Take advantage of these baddies and get fed. Once you have an early advantage, this build can snowball extremely fast, since it is very bursty and adept at ksing. During midgame you should be sitting at the back waiting for a squishy carry to run within your range or your team's cc, then jump on their face and insta-burst them. During lategame, you have the same role, but you must take note that you fall off greatly, so if your team cannot kill the rest of their team after you kill a squishy, it would be wise to switch to a legitimate build when money allows. Point of using this build: your opponents will underestimate you and think you suck because you are building int on a hero with no int scaling (most of the time you will be playing a hero like that), and then they will play recklessly, which will allow you to have a ton of fun insta-killing enemies while using a shapty build. mynhauzen
Tried it with a shadow, dont think that it is that good. Maybe vs bad opponents it might work, but tbh with no hp items, no way of jungling without potions and no real mobility... I see no point in doing it again other than to do something silly vs people that tower dive.
Hitechgunner
I'd say this works better with hybrid heroes. Raynor, Ghost, Ling, MAYBE Grunty because of his true damage and rocket, Kerry, perhaps Tass.
Moo
The reason I reccomended those heroes is that they are the ones Doug and I had the most succes with when we were trolling around, if you want to do it on different heroes be my guest. Also, this build is actually legitimate on rancor, which is why I didn't reccomended him.
LATERALUS
Yes. I remember Doug playing INT Zeratul against my kitty. He lost. However he had more kills then I did. I think he went 40 - 9 and I thought it was an interesting build that I even had to watch the replay. Cerebro, SunFlaregun, Energy Saber, Gravity Edge, Stars Fury, Eternity. I've tried this myself with failed attempts. People kept asking why I was going INT Zeratul. I'm not that great with Zeratul and have little experience with this Character. But I'm sure with practice this would be an Entertaining Troll Build.

He hasn't ever gotten eternity when I play with him, since we both agree that the build is so squishy that leech won't keep him alive, so that is weird if he got it. Anyways, Doug attempted to play normal weapon damage zera with me in a pub, and he went like 5-7. Just goes to show how much better int build is, rofl. xD

atomheartman
Int nova 22-5. So i don't see problems with troll int-builds in pubs. Even int darpa deals good damage but this is trash anyway.
Moo
I beat doug ez You aren't most AoS pubbers :P. That class of people allows things like int on aa carries to work, and get you fed.
