Lios
Seem like I'm very, very passive with every hero except darpa in IH and I'm always avoid skirmish until lv 11 or so, I'm always perfer farm > kills ( dk if that would success or not so yea :/ ) People laning kept abandon their lane and I always got their tower, idk staying for farm and tower is a better choice or let your lane to rot, ignore all exp and money to look for skirmishs is a better choice or not ? Pretty much depend on what kind of hero I guess, but what's the point of a carry joining a mid game teamfight ? Isn't keep farming and pushing ( of course gotta watch out for ganks ) so you can snowball out late game is better ?
ginosaji
Think about it like this... You need something like 12 creep kills to add up to a hero kill. From a purely economical standpoint, it's better to farm if you have an uncontested lane because one wave and a neutral camp will get you as much money as a hero kill if you last hit everything. Obviously there are other key factors that influence what a hard carry should do mid game (farm vs. help team). Ganking the enemy AA or key burst caster can set them back greatly and hinder that's team's performance greatly. So from an overall perspective ganking is beneficial as well. You also need to help protect towers, as early towers is one of the bettter ways to snowball. Basically, you should farm unless one of these factors is in effect. 1. Your team will lose a tower without you being there. 2. There's an aeon fight 3. You are almost certain you will get a kill advantage on the enemy team (if you don't, it will set you back in your farming/exp). As I said earlier, ganks are the best way to get ensured kills, as you can use the element of surprise to your advantage. Warding and dewarding is key, especially for a jungler, to accomplish this goal. Preferably it will be the carry that will get the kill, but still helps the team either way. This could also mean you engage in a teamfight you know you can win... i.e. they're outnumbered, low HP, skill c/d, or way out of position. But it's pretty much a commitment if you choose to farm or gank so it's pretty much it either set you back or move you up, a hard decision for carries. In Dota they have a mobile tp and just tp to come to a fight then tp back to lane for farming, in Aeon there's nothing like that so teamfight is like "unreliable" gold while farming is "reliable" gold :/
BestZeratul
It depends. On your hero, the situation, lots of things.
