Minor Fix to End Most Complaints in Pubs

No what? No as in you don't do this when you play? In DotA2 your hero isn't visible until you've actually selected it, you can wait to do so until the game is about to start.

Of course not. Every experienced player in Dota 2 knows that the picking phase ends indefinitely after the timer hits 0. So then you have the Meepo that picks 30 seconds after the game has already started and the Earthshaker that picks 35 seconds after the game has already started...

 

But in SotIS the game immediately starts after the timer hits 0, so you do have a point.

Sir, what if they random for 825 starting gold ? ( This thing is awesome, aeon should have the same to make it 1k mins start ! )

They used to have it, but if people didn't get the hero they wanted they would just leave, rinse and repeat until they got it.

 

Minerals reward for random is great feature and needed for sure

 

I think this is the problem of bad players. Don't choose random if you going to rage.

 

The main problem with random - talents. Suggestion - give random hero time to change talents tree after picking hero.

did you ever play with the old random? because they would ruin so many games just randoming and then quitting

Because while it does happen, it does not happen a lot.

 

AP pub = people pick heroes they want to play, when they're not randoming, not specific heroes to counter the enemy.

 

Maybe you should play more DotA before you start making sweeping generalizations about it? ;-)
