All enemies in a 20/10/5-unit radius around Viron lose 4/7/10% spell resistance respectively. The closer enemies are to Viron, the more spell resistance they lose. Q - Synthesize ACTIVE: Viron combines the bacteriophages currently being manipulated, creating a new skill at his disposal. The synthesized spell is determined by the combination of Anabolic Phage (W) and Catabolic Phage (E). Synthesizing phages resets the instances on Viron. Viron can only synthesize one spell at a time. CD = 17/13/9/5/1. Cast Range = Self. Energy Cost = 20/30/40/50/60. W - Anabolic Phage ACTIVE: Allows for the synthesis of Anabolic Phages. Each instance of Anabolic Phage grants Viron 0.25/0.75/1.25/1.75/2.25% of Max Health and Energy regeneration per second. Viron can have a maximum of 3 of any instance at a time. CD = N/A Cast Range = Self. Energy Cost = N/A. EFFECT: Each instance of Anabolic Phage is represented by a small Flying Locust model around Viron. E - Catabolic Phage ACTIVE: Allows for the synthesis of Catabolic Phages. Each instance of Catabolic Phage grants Viron 10/15/20/25/30 Weapon Damage. Viron can have a maximum of 3 of any instance at a time. CD = N/A Cast Range = Self. Energy Cost = N/A. EFFECT: Each instance of Catabolic Phage is represented by a small flying Scourge model around Viron. This next section is dedicated to all the possible skills that Viron can synthesize. Once synthesized, these skills appear instead of Viron's ultimate and all have the hotkey R. All synthesized spells besides WEE, EWW and EW, level up in correspondence with the levels of W and E. R - Biogeneration (1x Anabolic Phage) ACTIVE: Viron imbues a single allied target with regenerative spores, causing it and allies in a 3.5-unit radius around it to regenerate 1.5/2/2.5/3/3.5% of Max Health per second for 10 seconds. CD = 15. Cast Range = 7. Energy Cost = 120. EFFECT: Green clouds of spores surround target and AoE. R - Antigenic Boost (2x Anabolic Phage) ACTIVE: Viron boosts a single target allied unit's immune system, granting them 30/40/50/60/70% physical and spell resistance for 5 seconds and removes all debuffs. CD = 17. Cast Range = 8. Energy Cost = 110. R - Rabid Frenzy (3x Anabolic Phage) ACTIVE: Viron releases psychoactive spores in the air, causing all allies in a 4-unit radius around him to become manic and frenzied, gaining 10/20/30/40/50% attack and movement speed for 4 seconds. CD = 22. Cast Range = Self. Energy Cost = 150. EFFECT: A red cloud of spores surrounds the area around Viron and allies afflicted have a reddish hue. R - Malady (1x Catabolic Phage) ACTIVE: Viron afflicts a single enemy target with an illness, dealing 10/20/30/40/50 + (35% INT) spell damage per second for 8 seconds. If the target attacks or casts a spell during that time, they are stunned for 1 second. CD = 14 Cast Range = 8. Energy Cost = 140. EFFECT: A cloud of spores leaves Viron and homes in on the target. R - Phage Catalyst (2x Catabolic Phage) ACTIVE: Viron afflicts a single target with a phage catalyst. Enemy units in a 3.5-unit radius around the catalytic target lose 20/25/30/35/40% movement speed, and any damage the target receives will be replicated and received as 20/30/40/50/60% spell damage by enemies around it. The catalytic target does not lose movement speed or receive the same spell damage twice. Lasts 8 seconds. CD = 20. Cast Range = 8. Energy Cost = 80/100/120/140/160. R - Harvester of Sorrow (3x Catabolic Phage) ACTIVE: Viron calls down a massive pod of pestilence! After a 2 second delay, the pod strikes a target location and deals 100/150/200/250/300 + (70% INT) spell damage in a 3.5-unit radius. Enemies hit also take 10/15/20/25/30 true damage for 3 seconds. The initial damage is spread evenly among all enemies hit in the area of effect. This skill will reveal the target location through the Fog of War before the pod hits. CD = 60 Cast Range = Global. Energy Cost = 150/170/190/210/230. EFFECT: This skill utilizes the large Zerg Drop pod model and animation. R - Revirogenesis (1x Anabolic Phage + 1x Catabolic Phage) ACTIVE: Viron refreshes the timer on all buffs currently affecting his allies and all debuffs currently affecting his enemies on the map. CD = 80 Cast Range = Global. Energy Cost = 200. R - Plague Bearers (2x Anabolic Phage + 1x Catabolic Phage) ACTIVE: Viron summons two Plague Bearers to destroy his enemies. Lasts 35 seconds. CD = 50. Cast Range = 8. Energy Cost = 160. Plague Bearers are melee minions under Viron's control that has 100 + (60*LVL) Health, 25 + (40% INT) Weapon Damage, 25% Physical and Spell resistance, 2.6 movement speed, and +1 health regeneration. Enemies that attack Plague Bearers lose 5% physical and spell resistance for 3 seconds. Stacks up to 8 times. EFFECT: The Plague Bearer uses the Noxious Ultralisk model. R - Contaminants (1x Anabolic Phage + 2x Catabolic Phage) ACTIVE: Viron spawns a swarm of 6 Contaminants for 12 seconds. Contaminants are uncommandable, deal 25 spell damage and will only attack non-heroic units. Units attacked by Contaminants will start attacking their own allies, prioritizing heroes, for 5 seconds. Contaminants have (5% of Viron's Max HP) health, 3 movement speed and 100% spell resistance. CD = 18 Cast Range = 8. Energy Cost = 100. MOTHER Posted November 20, 2013 Author Report Share Posted November 20, 2013 I originally designed this hero as Nargil The Plague Lord, but realizing today the similarities in theme with the forgotten Viron.Volkov, I decided to modify the hero and re-imagine Viron.Volkov as Viron.Devourer. This hero is currently not intended for the HotS hero competition. Mainly because I already submitted two heroes ( which you can find here http://www.aeonofsto...ies1eradicator/ and here http://www.aeonofsto...est-viperkrell/ ) and tbh I have doubts about the developers being interested in a hero with this many spells.
