What was it formerly?

 

dealt like 300 base plus 30% current shield in a 6 unit aoe, then the dmg was nerfed a bit and a 1 sec stun was added. We felt this was to strong just get rid of the stun hero is good we said. Then it gets changes to this blitzcrank style skill from LOL but with such bad range and un reliable dmg its borderline useless.

 

So now the hero only was 1 skill. its Q, which you have to stand still for. Every other skill is a channel or non target able. The hero literally has only 1 skill to do stuff with. Its just boring to play. When it was all ready a boring hero to play before.

 

Its q is neat but its all the hero can do, are your forced to stand still

 

W makes you stand still for 4-5 seconds for mana,

 

E gives shields no real interaction from the player to the character.

 

R is the same as e, just a toggle semi aoe thats un reliable, and you dont really see any difference when its on or off.

 

 

At least lurker can burrow un burrow has a skill shot stun, has a smite , etc... just more things to do then just stand still using your 1 q , or standing still using your w etc....

I typically build my Solidus with Treasure to start (via Wealth), then grab Ihan, Gravity, DST, Silver Soul, Galactic in that order, followed by another Treasure. At that point, I decide what big threats I need to respond to. If there is a good DPS carry on the other team, I'll pick up a Barbed Plating. If they're debuff heavy, I'll pick up Paralax. Then, I proceed to fill up all remaining spots with Silver Souls (including replacing Ihan after full stacks). So my final items will typically be:

A) Gravity, DST, Galactic SSx3

B) Gravity, DST, Barbed, Galactic, SSx2

C) Gravity, DST, Parallax, Galactic, SSx2

 

The result is that I can zip around, hasting creep pushes and firing off cannon blasts in rapid succession, hitting Galactic for a quick +1000 shields to pump the output. Meantime, the timescale from multiple SS makes my ult fire off quite frequently and allows my shields to tick faster so people end up wailing on me for a good minute while I just sit there zapping them and firing my cannon and they sit there dying wondering why I won't die. Then they RQ.

I feel the hero is very one dimensional, not a very fun hero to play honestly which is most important because people play to have fun first and foremost. I wish the R would change into something more dynamic. His previous R works well with his tankiness and gives nice initiation, he essentially becomes a ticking bomb with shields up, he can walk into the team fight and blow up his shields.
