Mus
Firstly, since Core Gaming is a partner of this site I feel that I am justified in creating this topic here. If a mod feels differently then do what you have to do but please don't warn/ban me for it, I am trying to be respectful in this post. Up until today, I was a member of the Core Gaming forum. As a result of me trolling in a pub once I received two warning points on the forum. Basically they are moderating the pub scene, which I think is wrong. In my opinion I have the right to troll in pubs, but Ironsights' sees differently and continued to issue me with warning points for my actions in pubs. People send him replays of my pub games, he watches them and issues the warning points and bans as he sees fit. He is the 'Security Director' of Core Gaming, I do not understand how 'Pub Moderator' fits into that role. Skydie was also punished with me for trolling in a pub on Sunday (I received three warning points for that one game) and as standard procedure Ironsights opened a PM with me and Skydie. In this PM thread, Skydie tried to discuss the warning points with Ironsights and the response he received was: 'Arguing will do you no good, and further comments on this will result in additional moderation.' He also went on to say: 'This is not open for debate' I am now perma banned from Core Gaming. On the bright side, I am now free to play pubs however I like, they no longer have any leverage over me. You might be wondering why I am making this thread. Well, Core Gaming is a partner of this community now so I want to expose what our partner is doing. By being a part of Core Gaming you are going to have your pub games moderated. Note that in the 'General Rules and Policies' thread on Core Gaming, they do not mention that trolling in pubs is a punishable offence. They do however state that the rules listed are not exhaustive, which is basically a safety net for them to dismiss your claims of 'Trolling in pubs isn't listed on the rules thread'. Personally I would like this pub moderation to cease. I do not think it is fair at all and I would go as far to say that this is a case of a mod abusing his powers. Please post your thoughts on this topic, but keep it respectful. I did not make this thread to bash Core Gaming or any of its members, I just want to discuss the issue of pub moderation. Mus
Issue is, I wasn't a part of any Core clans, I was just a member of the forum. Therefore, I was not carrying any of the Core clan tags in game.

Wrath
It's a clan... They're entitled to their own rules. If you don't like them, don't participate. Ironsights, Hogwarts and ginosaji
residente
Dafuq I just read. If you are not member of Core or anything leave that forum and troll what you want. It's as simple as that. I would never be in a clan that can limit my entertaiment in a videogame. It's just stupid. If they want to be there even with the rules and accept them, it's fine. Gladiator
The funny thing about this whole thing is all of the details Mus failed to mention. He was being abusive verbally towards other Core players and not just trolling in a pub... purposely sniping games of Core members and playing micro/zera etc to get his own team killed (the Core members). He says he is not in any of the Core clans but he has a fake lAOSl tag and goes around slandering clan lAOSl. He only received warning points after being verbally warned to stop what he was doing and he continued anyway. After a verbal warning they actually gave him warning points and temp banned him from the forum and put him on content moderation for 30 days ( another thing he wasnt clear about, he is not perma banned) Anyway, no one cares if you're in Core or not, you are there only if you choose to be. Don't follow the rules, goodbye. simple as that. Now stop trying to get sympathy by telling lies. Topic really should be locked. So I did cover that in my OP. There was no verbal abuse, just mild trolling in the chat. The fake aos tag was created after I started getting warning points for sniping. I only did the micro troll once, and a cow troll once. No zera. I did get temp banned for sniping on Sunday but today I got perma banned even though I didn't play any pubs. Iron probs just lost his patience with me lol. I did not lie in my OP.

EterNity
Clan = drama. No matter how big or small the clan is, there will be always drama. You will learn not to take anyone seriously on the internet unless money or business is involved.
