Not really a character balance post but more of a look at what other factors make these hero's unbalanced..

 

Things I don't ever see discussed often in this forum...

 

Positioning- Where Aeon+Levi are located...... Can/Does the current terrain of the map make a difference? Should the jungle be improved/made slightly bigger with a few extra paths/more creeps?

 

Items- How do we balance items? Do items become balanced around hero's or are hero's balanced around items?

 

I just want to see some discussion around this. To me I think the map is honestly a little small. The jungle is hardly a jungle. I think making some creeps a little more tough/adding more of them with a bigger map/jungle would benefit the risk/reward. More creeps=more $ but more pathing/more bushes and surprise ambushes = more risk.

You can search for some info on forums, in some points you should be more specific. If you have some idea to improve the jungle post it.

 

Items and heros are relted themselves and they are related to tea and enemy team.

I did add my suggestion to the jungle, and I can't understand your second half of the post. What points should be more specific? Don't same some points should be more specific while remaining to broadly address my points... I was specific with the jungle. I want to see more suggestions/ideas. As for the info on forums.... it's incredibly out-dated and lacks in a lot of areas.

I agree that item balance is pretty weird, items like arcbound or aggresors guise cost too much for the crap they give, sure tons of weapon speed and crits are good, but with no damage and without active/unique, it's that worthy? you can get crits via khali blade and weapon speed via time splitter, aggresors give you health, agi and cdr and that Unique countered by ts. His prize is too high to be worthy, sure the heath is good but FoE is way better for an AGI hero (or even Shinobi) and the AGI will be taken by Time Splitter/Sliptide/Shinobi/BHM, and the cdr by HoM/Masamune

 

I think some items like those just give random stats and have a random prize...

However, it's easier to convince a stone to fly then anything to my attempt.

 

 

 

A very simply way to look at what item need to be addressed is by their popularity.

 

Pretty much every AA get Lighting Rod and Force of Entropy. We can tell right away those items have superiority over any other options.

 

However, like I said, I actually made a stone flies the other day but no success with convincing Redhydra ._.

It's sad that a developer is so close minded, even when close mates (not sure if you are like that with him) tell him the things. When a whole community of experienced players (and most of them more than him, no offense Red) give him feedback again and again and he doesn't listen, I feel pretty bad.

It cost me several months after telling Hydra via SC chat that the Guardian Steel or Vibranium Shield (the item who give you mana when u recieve damage) was bugged and didn't give the 30 str. I talked to him several times, he answering, and each time he said, did you tell me that before? and I was like wtf u trolling me.

Tbh I thought Ecko was the boss, he is the big bro, but I guess he doesn't even read any kind of anything given by anyone.

FoE should be like how it was, with the Unique from lightning rod and an Active to slow enemies, passive slow is the most retard thing ever, but also the speed some items give is also flobing stupid.

 

I didn't say this kind of things before because I thought it was just my imagination, but after playing IHs and feeling the same I can affirm as a fact that items are not balanced. Because, you know by pub experience you can't talk like that.

 

flob I just hope the new items give some balance to the game (lol) because if some of them are like some of the ones we have now this game will be even a bigger joke...

im still a little confused on why everything is balenced from IH games when 95% its pub matchs getting played

Eternity pretty much summed it up. Small differences aren't seen as much in pub games because generally speaking the skill cap is a lot lower and players don't fully understand the game or the way the game operates. These differences are seen in competition more often because they make such a drastic difference during a match.

Do we really have to go over this again ? Is starcraft balanced around bronze players ? Is any real sports or esports balanced around low level play ? No, because that would break the balance for competitive games.
