How people react on leavers in their team

I think that people are having a bad attitude about people leaving games, many people leave becaus they are feeding the enemie team or newbies in their team. There are only a few people actually trying to explain them the game and after they left they are saying stuff like: oh good he was a nooby flag anyways. I'm really quistioning how crappy this community became....

I'd like to know furthermore if there is some votekick planned to be added?

So that the lonely guy that doesn't want to leave in a 5n1 after they all got owned and left can be kicked out?

Actually that's not entirely true. Almost all the time, when a person left in my team, I am happy. I rather get the 9% than having someone kept on feeding enemy team non-stop.

Plus, with the extra income, you will be able to turn the game almost all the time if the person that left the game only die ~3 times.

thats the problem, try it against a rancor for example whos team left at the 15minutes mark, he will have an argus a gravity and a snulfare on lvl 11 and just pwn you all with 2nukes

You get a 7%bonus btw and thats way to much already -.-"

I'm always happy when the feeder quits, even if it's on the enemy team. But some games, the feeder wants to do something else and asks for help, so I'm also always glad to help them, if they ask, ofc.

The leaver bonus is just insane. Today, I was playing Boros, on NA, I just went my usual "caster build", my team was fairly bad, we had a newb Zergling feeding the whole game, but he didn't quit, I just told him what to do. I was also playing with Raphael and he did a pretty good job as Grunty, we also had 1 horrible Micro and 1 horrible Zera, they got raped and left (unlike the zergling) the enemy team had a fed Kerrigan and a fed Vorpal. They also had Jakk, Queen and Raynor, they werent that good but they could push us too fast. We had just the artifact when Zeratul and Micro left, and... 3v5 we ended winning the game. I had like 200 weapon damage but 400 int and over 4000 hp and I could solo a 5k hp Vorpal.

What I want to say with that is, because of the leaver bonus and the income I got a lot of money and we could win a 3v5 game. And to be honest, we didn't deserve that win, not because we played bad. I did a 41-1-22 (with some monster kills and good looking bolas) and Raphael also did a great work pushing and killing bosses with Grunty, but just because of the 3v5, I still think we dind't deserve that win (anyway I didn't want to surrender lol). A team with leavers don't deserve it. And we won because of the leaver bonus. The game lasted 1 hour and 10 minutes they just surrendered becuase they couldn't do shap. Even with the good job they did in the early-mid game.

tl;dr I don't like the leaver bonus, it's unfair.

It happened to me that I had 4 decent players that weren't feeding but weren't killed either while I owned them all with ganking ( i was zera). So we ended up 5n1 vs a rancor that didn't want to leave. We ended up stuck infront of his base, not able to kill towers due to him 1hiting waves with a nuke so 2of my team left after 10minutes turtling from his side. It got really anoying when we asked him to leave multiple times and he said it was fun for him and we should all rq -.-

Worst thing is if both teams has feeders and the feeders only leaves for 1 team, Then the already strong opponents that's feed from ur feeders gets lots of extra money as well as the inreased income and leaving bonus, while you still have people in ur team who continues to feed. This is especially a problem if you are playing on EU servers where you can't communicate with some of your players.

I think some Dev said they are looking at current leaver bonus ( Whick I hate in some way too)

By other part

Surrender is an option being in group or solo, not mandatory. Though insults are not a nice way to go, If I am alone and someone insults me I suggest him to open Tab and looking for leavers if insults are necessary since I am doing what it is planned to do ( playing) not interested in any win but enjoying my time the way game let me ( Ofc not kick option on enemy team just in Allies Team or both). Later 1 min or 10 I surrender.

If there's no time to do a game, don't start a game.

I get upset at people who leave the game prematurely because they're playing bad because you don't learn to play the game that way. Rome wasn't built in a day and you don't learn to be good at AoS (or similar games) after just a few sittings. Success is a fickle plant and you've got to fertilize it with a lot of bullshap. The problem that arises is that people who don't play well aren't offered advise by experienced players because the experienced players are, quite frankly, jaded at their advice being spit back in their faces. You tell the noob to buy starting items and not just save up money to get the Gravity Edge all at once, but they ignore you. You tell them to stick with the team and not charge in against bad odds, and they ignore you. You give them all the advice in the world and they not only ignore you, but they get belligerent and insulting about it. At least 9 times out of 10, you try to offer help and it gets thrown back in your face. Some times, the person is so put off by you deigning to offer suggestions on how to play that they turn to griefing as a response. No one wants to deal with that and, quite frankly, I find it hard to blame them. If venting your frustrations on a bad player is going to yield the same results as trying your best to help them and you get to vent your frustration rather than cultivate it, where's the motivation to be a nice guy? Now some, like myself, will give them the benefit of the doubt and start with helpful advise; but if they make it apparent that they'll have none of that, I'm more than willing to let them have the other end of my personality. But even there, quitting out of the game won't teach them anything. I'd much rather they stay and lose so they see the results of their decisions than to have them show up in another game down the line making the same mistakes because they never experienced the consequences thereof. If I see someone again in a future match, I expect them to be making brand new mistakes, damnit.

Well, but there are players you've seen them playing for over half and a year and they still suck and to the same stupid things.

Other think I want to say it's that sometimes, I've tried to be polite to new players, for example those 10-300 players who doesnt buy items in the whole game, but they already played 30 games. I say things like, "can I help you?" "do you know how to buy items?" "do you even read english?" and I'm just ingnored by them the whole game. But then, suddently after being rly upset I say "flob YOU MOTHERflobER AND BUY A flobING ITEM, STAY CLOSE TO THE TOWERS SO YOU DONT RUIN A GAME ANYMORE YOU PIECE OF shap" and then they say sorry and buy an item.

I don't say that's the way to teach anyone but why new players ignore you? I don't know, sometimes being polite or rude it's not an option. I always try to win, so I always try to help them and if they dont give a flob about me I just hope them to leave the game.

You know its REALLY REALLY REALLY simple, and your overthinking it, if a game is fun to you, keep playing, if that means 1v5 where your the 1, then thats fine, if it means a 5v1 where your the 5, and its fun, keep playing, if a game gets to a point where your no longer having fun, QUIT!!! its really that simple. lol. i dont see whats so hard about it. if your on a quest to find 5v5 teams every game, join mumble you will have fun. Pubs are going to always be nubs, and always rage quit, dont think anything else of a pub. and like i said, JUST HAVE FUN

When I cared I wouldn't leave a game under any circumstance. I recall twice I won a 1v5 game in 3.0 (before 7%?), my team literally left to start both games and I think I was on a losing streak the few games before so I just rage stayed. It was like that episode of Yugioh where he went up against that kid with 10,000 life points and he only had 100 and won. Of course like Yugi I cheated. He called it the "heart of the cards" but anyone that can call the name of the card he drew before he placed it down was a dam cheater. In my case I cheated by using the OP characters Vespus and LZ and exploiting a bunch of noobs until they fell into depression and rage quitted. A true veteran would stay in every game, but the games last so long and I lose interests so fast now that I couldn't care less about staying. After all being a true veteran is overrated.

I think I was in this game as the LZ. The problem wasn't that he was getting too much money or leaver bonus, the problem IMO is with the hero. He was a rancor and frankly if he had ever tried to 1v1 me out in the open he would have died. Same for zera and cyprus (I forget which one you were Indo). Problem is, he never had to do that. His nukes 1 shotted the entire creep wave, so even if I dodged all the nukes except for the snipe one, I still couldn't push the tower because the entire wave I was with vanished. I was rolling all spell resist and HP except for one FOE to help with my stupidly slow creep clearing. I literally couldn't get any other item because I would have died to the snipe/nuke combo.

Idk if this is the same game you're referring to, but in any case the problem is rancor was able to hold off all 3 lanes with single nukes at each one. It took us nearly an hour to finish the game, and only won because he had an item cap of 6 slots (if he had been able to continue to buy items, we would have lost)

I was zera legatus, but using this round only as an example. If a team got pwned and most of them left, they should just loose instead of 1guy turtling for around half an hour.

I had to dodge caus I would have died to 3nukes, cleared waves withing 3seconds but when i wanted to attack the towers he sniped me from behind the towers while nuking away the wave with a single nuke -.-
