Script: Bear Grill, the greatest survival man of our generation, was kept in frozen cryosleep, on his own personal spaceship. The space ship was destined to forever search the universe for the natural woods that Bear made his home back on Earth. When Bear's ship dected the natural forests left in the Sanctum, he felt obliged to come down and fight to preserve them for future generations.

Abilities:

I'll Eat Anything! Bear has no energy, instead he has "Calories" calories are obtained by attacking and dealing damage.

Bear, unlike all the other heros, has no psychic abilities, and instead relies only on his body and the things it can do.

Effect: Every attack gives Bear +5% Calorie Regen for 1.25 seconds. Max Calories = 70% of HP

 

Bloodlust: Gains extra MS, Attack Speel, and attack damage, with more bonuses if under a certain % of HP.

Bear flies into a blood induced rage, gaining extra mobement speed, attack damage, and attack speed. If Bear is under 40% HP when this is cast, the effects of MS are doubled, but the Attack Damage and Attack speedis halved.

Energy Cost:80/90/100/110

Cooldown: 15/13/12/9

Range: Self

Level 1: Bear gains, 10% attack speed, 5% weapon damage, and 6% MS

Level 2: Bear gains, 15% attack speed, 10% weapon damage, and 12% MS

Level 3: Bear gains 20% attack speed, 15% weapon damage, and 18% MS

Level 4: Bear gains 25% attack speed, 20% weapon damage, and 24% MS

 

In-Depth Explanation: This is just a basic damage steroid, and you will need the extra MS to keep up with enemy heros because he has no stuns/slows besides Ulti, although when at low HP, it gives 48% MS for 6 seconds which is Great for escaping, but when at low HP, its almost useless for the attack damage/speed buff.

Shelter: Like a small deployable bunker, although if Bear himself is not in the bunker, it has 50 HP at all levels.

Bear uses the terrain and natural resources to construct himself a ranged weapon and shelter, 3 charges.

Energy Cost: 30/50/70/90

Cooldown: 15

Level 1: 3 unit range, 1.5% Calorie Regen while inside. Can take 200 + 50% INT supports 2 shelters

Level 2: 4 unit range, 1.65% Calorie Regen while inside. Can take 250 + 50% INT supports 3 shelters

Level 3: 5 unit range, 1.8% Calorie Regen while inside. Can take 300 + 50 % INT supports 4 shelters

Level 4: 6 unit range, 2% Calorie Regen while inside. Can take 350 + 50% INT supports 5 shelters

Effect: Would be a building that Bear can load into.

 

In-Depth Explanation: This would be useful for jungling, also when combined with attacking and sentry fire, you would gain lots of calories, extremely fast, at lvl 4, you can have lots of these bunkers around the map, and combined with sentry fires, you would have amazing map control.

Can't Take the Bear Out of the Wild: While in the "Jungle" Bear gains extra MS, is cloaked, and gets extra HP regen.

Bear, feeling most natural in the wild, hides himself and heals himself with the native plants, he also uses his extensive woodland knowlage to make himself move fast.

Energy Cost: None

Cooldown: None

Range: Self

Level 1: Cloaks after a 2 second delay, 1%+ HP regen, and 4% MS.

Level 2: Cloaks after a 1.5 second delay, 1.5%+ HP regen, and 6% MS.

Level 3: Cloaks after a 1 second delay, 2%+ HP regen, and 8% MS.

Level 4: Cloaks after a 0.5 second delay, 2.5%+ HP regen, and 10% MS.

 

In-Depth Explanation: This gives Bear increadable sustain in the jungle, and allows him to move around the jungle uninhibited and faster than most ofther heros.

Duration: No Duration limit

Sentry Fire: Creates a signal fire that is invisible, 2 (+1 every 6 LVLs) charges, 15 sec CD,Signal fire cannot be "built" on the water, when Bear is within 4 unit radius of the fire, he gains 1.0% Calorie Regen per second, all allied heros gain +2 energy regen. This would be an added ability like Cow's Consume Clip, or Roach's Q, No Calorie Cost

Bear knows that fire is essential to life and has mastered the art of fire building, allowing him to build fires quickly and smokelessly, rendering them invisible to enemies.

 

In-Depth Explanation: This is like a sentry ward, with a small added effect for Bear, and a small HP regen for allies, which makes it good for laning and jungling

Cast Time: 3

Bear Attack!: Rushes at an enemy unit, transforming into a bear on the way, when the bear hits an enemy unit, it slows MS for 3 seconds. As a bear, you can take a certain amount of damage before you revert to human form, gains weapon damage and has a chance to hamstring the target for seconds.

Bear unleashes his inner bear, rushing at an enemy unit, and smacks the ground in his rage, slowing enemy MS around that area. While in bear form, bear can take damage before returning to his human form.

Energy Cost: 150/200/250

Cooldown: 120 seconds/105 seconds/90 seconds

Range: Self

Level 1: Can take 300 (+20% INT) Damage, gains 50 weapon damage, and has a 50% chance to hamstring (applies a 15% MS debuff)

Level 2: Can take 600 (+20% INT) Damage, gains 100 weapon damage, and has a 50% chance to hamstring (applies a 20% MS debuff)

Level 3: Can take 900 (+20% INT) Damage, gains 150 weapon damage, and has a 50% chance to hamstring (applies a 25% MS debuff)

 

Duration: 12 seconds

First hero, so this is probably super OP, so give me some advice on how I should balance him

Well with the new "calorie" system, the numbers are probably messed up, like the regen amounts and the cost, so help with that if you can

It's actually pretty ok. Although the skills aren't particularly interesting, the only balance issues would be the spammability of W and the low proc chance of Hamstring with his ulti. Instead of a low proc chance and a huge slow, you should change it to a moderate proc chance with a moderate slow, eg. 30% chance to slow by 40%

You're right, he is kinda boring, I hope the changes I made will make him slightly more interesting
