Janitron.5000

janitron_zpsec51f714.png

Janitron was once an ordinary cleaning robot, destined to spend the rest of its miserable existence cleaning floors and scrubbing hallways. One day, however, a mysterious lab bot that called itself "One" upgraded Janitron, and taught him the secrets of life and death. Janitron now knows only vengeance, and will stop at nothing to destroy his former masters, no matter the costs.

Living Vengeance [Heroic Passive]

Janitron empowers his allies if they are within the area of effect of his spells. Affected allies move faster and deal bonus damage on their attacks based on their primary attribute.

Effect: Affected allies gain 0.5 speed and do 15 (+30% Ally's Primary Attribute) bonus Spell Damage on-hit.

Cleanup Crew [Q]

Mana Cost: 90/115/140/165

Cooldown: 30/26/22/18

Range: 10

Janitron targets an enemy and calls down a drop pod on its position that releases a number of ghosts after 2 seconds. The ghosts attack once, dealing 50 (+15% INT) Spell Damage each to the target, approaching 300% of the standard amount based on how much health the target is missing.

If the target is killed or leaves a 10 unit radius before the ghosts arrive, they will shoot the lowest health units in the radius instead. If there are no targets, they will wait up to 5 seconds and shoot anyone that enters the radius.

This ability gives double the reward on assists to nearby allies if the ability kills the enemy.

Level 1: Spawns 2 ghosts.

Level 2: Spawns 3 ghosts.

Level 3: Spawns 4 ghosts.

Level 4: Spawns 5 ghosts.

Utility Bomb [W]

Mana Cost: 80/100/120/140

Cooldown: 20

Range: 6

Janitron tosses a noxious brew of cleaning chemicals at the targeted location, applying effects to allies and enemies within a 4 unit radius over a 4 second duration.

To Allies: The bomb reduces damage taken by 20% and applies this buff for the duration of the blast. Allies that leave the blast keep the effect until the blast ends.

To Enemies: The bomb silences and blinds enemies hit by the initial blast for 2 seconds, causing their attacks to miss. As long as they stay in the radius, they take damage per second and also lose armor.

Level 1: 20 (+20% INT) Spell Damage per second. Armor reduced by 4.

Level 2: 40 (+20% INT) Spell Damage per second. Armor reduced by 6.

Level 3: 60 (+20% INT) Spell Damage per second. Armor reduced by 8.

Level 4: 80 (+20% INT) Spell Damage per second. Armor reduced by 10.

Sweeper Trail [E]

Mana Cost: 40/50/60/70

Cooldown: 10/9/8/7

Janitron charges his servos, gaining a quick burst of speed that decays to 20% over 2.5 seconds, and releasing a jet of chemicals behind him for 2 seconds, slowing enemies hit. Enemies can only be hit once by the spray.

Level 1: 40% speed boost, 30% slow for 3 seconds.

Level 2: 60% speed boost, 35% slow for 3.5 seconds.

Level 3: 80% speed boost, 40% slow for 4 seconds.

Level 4: 100% speed boost, 45% slow for 4.5 seconds.

Vortex [R]

Mana Cost: 100/150/200

Cooldown: 120/100/80

Janitron winds up for 0.5 seconds, then spinds violently for 4 seconds, dealing damage to enemies he hits and knocking them away. Enemies can only be hit once and afterward take damage per second if they remain in the vortex.

Janitron is suppressed from attacking or casting spells for the duration of this ability, but can move at 70% reduced speed.

Level 1: 140 (+60% INT) Spell Damage on collision, 50 (+15% INT) Spell Damage per second.

Level 2: 280 (+60% INT) Spell Damage on collision, 100 (+15% INT) Spell Damage per second.

Level 3: 420 (+60% INT) Spell Damage on collision, 150 (+15% INT) Spell Damage per second.

I like the hero, pretty basic and yet has some good utility.

His ultimate, however, doesn't make any sense. If he knocks enemies away from his vortex, then the damage per second for remaining in it might as well not be there at all. In fact, it would only give enemies time to position themselves around you to take you out once it finishes. My advice would be to have it suck in enemies at a rate of 1-1.5 units per second.

He is a support. He isn't used for his damage but for the utility the ult provides. Vortex splits up the enemy team and knocks the enemy carries out of position, allowing your team to follow up. Making him suck enemies in would make him overlap with Jackson in an AoE comp and removes his ability to peel as effectively. Not to mention he would have no hard CC.

Janitron is a support/initiator who should be building somewhat tanky. While they move in to take you out, your team is taking advantage of you splitting the entire enemy team up if executed correctly.

The damage per second is there so that you're not just doing nothing if you are moving through a teamfight that you just initiated. It should be cancellable. It can still do some pretty mean damage assuming you quickly close the gap to an enemy after knocking them into your team (or a wall, more likely). 1020 base damage, specifically, but that isn't really the point of the ability.
