Darpa's a bit absurd

Every game I've been in, on my team, against us, Darpa almost *always* has at least a 3:1 kill:death ratio.

 

He's ranged, fast as hell, does insane damage, can get out of trouble whenever needed, and in general is impossible as hell to kill.

 

In my opinion, his range is WAY the hell too high. Range 2, maybe 3 would be reasonable. Just my opinion... haven't given it *that* much thought, but right now I'm pissed as hell.

Burst spell dmg, Tanks, Taser, Pick Whichever one you want :) Though generally late game you cant 1v1 any aa carry so teamwork helps a lot

 

Um, how about my bio, with mid 400 int, doing E Q E on him... sorry, doesn't work, he SILENCES CASTERS. He's bullshap man.

 

I mean, ok, so shrapnel him... fine... he runs away and comes back in 5 seconds, now what do you do?

 

How about casters on him? Nope, he gets a few charges and pops off a stun... now not only can you not do shap against him, but if you're bio or lurker, you can't even #%(*ing unburrow, so you sit there and die.

If the mighty eternity can only manage a 22-1 kdr against a team with 3 feeders, 0 AA heroes, and 0 burst damage (minus the mule, which he can probably ignore by jumping and avoiding ult), no taser, no long range CC, then Darpa must be underpowered, and this screenshot is not helping your argument. Although I agree, a Melee range reaper that headbutts enemies for AA damage is a step in the right direction.

 

PS. Shadowmourne would have destroyed a Darpa with such an item build, to say nothing of Executioneer's Ax or Taser.

Lol eternity is who u are crying about? i made him rage quit today while random pubbing. he really isnt good at all.

 

for starters hes a noob. is missing the whole early/mid game farming. secondly has no idea about positioning and skill. saw him jump into me and 2 other team mates and got absolutley raped.

 

if u want the replay id be happy to send it to you. he really is bad tho

looking at this first off yoru bio has a shap build. only the e mantle and barb is good items on him, he should of sent for coa and paralax. only 2 ppl on bios team had spell resist. drapa team is about 75% spelll damage going on. and we all cant remember the heros name but the anti AA hero started off good but again should of gotten some spell resist and a warp shard looking at the combo the other team had. if bio would of focused on cdr, armor and spell resist and a mossberg he could of owned.

I will not say anything about the OP, your team was bad and no one wanted to counter Darpa, end.

Micro with LB instead of warp... GENIUS!

And the fact that they still went positive just goes to show how bad the other team was.

Im wondering how after a 20-60 game, MK was lvl 16 and had 1 damn assist

 

Ok, seriously, lock this thread, he called Darpa OP, but look at this team, that doesn't make any sense

1) Darpa got nerfed recently

2) range 2-3 would be retarded.....he's a ranged AA unit not a melee hero

 

More importantly you are forgetting that its really his ult that is responsible for the KD's you see...

He dodges like every 4 seconds, its a given you can end with a positive spread if you micro well and don't overcommit

@Akanna you're #2 isn't really logical, considering how strong a good tassadar player can be and his range is 2.5 as a 'ranged' hero.

 

@OP - This isn't really a good setup to determine if Derpa is OP or not, he's strong in the hands of anyone with half a brain (sorry to those with full brains, you can't utilize him right).

You gotta build to counter in this game. Grab a bossmode taser and ex axe. Woulda been a whole different game.

 

It also helps if your team focuses the better players. A lot of time above average players use his team as bait. Wards and baiting yourself is what you need to do, especially with DARPA

Any tank with barbed and executioner axe counters him. Shrapnel & taser = ez. Not to mention spell burst dmg.

 

Pfft, no. Derpa's strength is kiting and being hard to catch. The actual counter to him is darksteel titan + taser. You only get axe if you can attack him in the first place.
