This is the Dehaka I originally was trying to make, before I accidentally deleted my process half way through. That's 4 hours now I've spent on this hero, hope you like it!

-Acknowledged change in primary stats

-Added 300 second switch specialization.

-Minor balance changes.

-Caused Dehaka to gain ranged attack if he chooses Vile Fiend aspect.

Script: With the fall of Korhal, Dehaka left the powerful queen of blades to search for new essences. In his travels, he has never came across a place like the sanctum, where he hopes to attain ultimate evolution.

 

Starts with:

Health - 250

Movespeed - 3

Attack Speed - 1.8

STR: 24+5 per level.

AGI: 24+5 per level.

INT: 24+5 per level.

Abilities:

 

Heroic Passive: Essence of Evolution

 

Description: Dehaka continues to evolve as he slaughters his foes. Every unit he kills grants him 1 stack of Essence while every hero kill or assist grants him 10. Once Dehaka gains 30 stacks, he can evolve by hitting (E). At this point, he can choose any of four aspects:

 

Adaption - Dehaka evolves all his abilities, granting him 6+1 per level of every stat.

Armored Titan - Dehaka hardens his carapace increasing his strength by 10+2 per level and unlocks "Titan" abilities.

Predator - Dehaka evolves his claws, increasing his agility by 10+2 per level and unlocks "Predator" abilities

Vile Fiend - Dehaka evolves his mind and bile glands, increasing his intelligence by 10+2 per level and unlocks "Fiend." abilities

 

Once evolved, Dehaka every 20 stacks of Essence grants 1 stack of Evolved. Stacks 10 times. Upon death, he loses 50% of his stacks. Dehaka can change his aspect every 300 seconds at the cost of 2 stacks of Evolved.

(Q) Consume Essence

Description: Dehaka's next attack consumes the targets essence, doing bonus spell damage and granting him a portion of their main stat for 5 seconds. Each stack of Evolved causes the ability to additionally leech for 10% of damage dealt.

 

Level 1: Deals 50[+30%INT] bonus spell damage, and leeches 8% of their main stat.

Level 2: Deals 80[+30%INT] bonus spell damage, and leeches 12% of their main stat.

Level 3: Deals 110[+30%INT] bonus spell damage, and leeches 16% of their main stat.

Level 4: Deals 140[+30%INT] bonus spell damage, and leeches 20% of their main stat.

 

(W) Forced Mutation

 

Cost: 60/80/100/120

Cool-down: 25

Range: 6

 

Description: Dehaka forces the target to mutate, bolstering it's damage but increasing it's damage taken for 5 seconds. Can be used on both self and enemies. Each stack of Evolved adds 1 health regen (if used on self) or does 30 damage over the duration (If used on enemy).

 

Level 1: Increases damage dealt and damage taken by 10%.

Level 2: Increases damage dealt and damage taken by 15%.

Level 3: Increases damage dealt and damage taken by 20%.

Level 4: Increases damage dealt and damage taken by 25%.

 

 

(E) Situation Adaption

 

Cost: passive

Cool-down: passive

Range: passive

 

Description: Dehaka evolves to the situation, increasing his abilities depending on the situation. being attacked increases his armor, while attacking increases his attack speed. Stacks up to 5 times and last 3 seconds unless refreshed. Each stack of Evolved causes him to gain 1% movement speed every 10 seconds he's out of combat stacking 5 times. Entering combat causes him to lose all Evolved bonus stacks.

 

Level 1: Every [5% total heath] damage taken grants Dehaka 1.5 armor, and every time he AA's he gains 1.5% weapon speed.

Level 1: Every [5% total heath] damage taken grants Dehaka 2 armor, and every time he AA's he gains 2% weapon speed.

Level 1: Every [5% total heath] damage taken grants Dehaka 2.5 armor, and every time he AA's he gains 2.5% weapon speed.

Level 1: Every [5% total heath] damage taken grants Dehaka 3 armor, and every time he AA's he gains 3% weapon speed.

 

(ULTIMATE) Master of Essence

 

Cost: 140/170/200

Cool-down: 150

Range: n/a

 

 

Description: Dehaka absorbs the essence of all enemies within 6 units of him. This does a great amount of damage, and steals 20% of the enemies health, INT, and weapon damage. Each stack of Evolved increases this by 1%.

 

Level 1: Deals 250(+50%INT) spell damage, and last 6 seconds.

Level 1: Deals 450(+50%INT) spell damage, and last 8 seconds.

Level 1: Deals 650(+50%INT) spell damage, and last 10 seconds.

 

 

 

TITAN ABILITIES:

Primary Stat: STR

 

(Q) Evolutionary Leap

 

Cost: 60/80/100/12

Cooldown: 24/20/16/12

Range: 6/7/8/9

 

Description: Dehaka leaps towards the target location, dealing damage to all enemies within 4 units of him and knocking all enemy back 4 units and stunning them for 0.8 seconds. Every stack of Evolved increases the jump distance by 0.5.

 

Level 1: Deals 60(+100%STR) spell damage.

Level 1: Deals 120(+100%STR) spell damage.

Level 1: Deals 180(+100%STR) spell damage.

Level 1: Deals 240(+100%STR) spell damage.

 

(W) Fearsome Roar

 

Cost: 50/80/110/140

Cool-down: 18

Range: n/a

 

Description: Dehaka delivers a fearsome roar, causing all enemies within 4 units to lose movement speed and all allies to gain movement speed for 3 seconds. Every stack of Evolved increases the range of the roar by 0.5 units.

 

Level 1: Enemies lose and teammates gain 20% movement speed.

Level 2: Enemies lose and teammates gain 30% movement speed.

Level 3: Enemies lose and teammates gain 40% movement speed.

Level 4: Enemies lose and teammates gain 50% movement speed.

 

(E) Armored Claws

 

Cost: Passive

Cool-Down: Passive

Range: Passive

 

Description: Dehaka gains a portion of his STR as bonus physical damage. Each stack of Evolved will increase the percentage of STR by 1%.

 

Level 1: Deals a bonus [10%STR] physical damage every attack.

Level 1: Deals a bonus [15%STR] physical damage every attack.

Level 1: Deals a bonus [20%STR] physical damage every attack.

Level 1: Deals a bonus [25%STR] physical damage every attack.

 

(ULTIMATE) Viral Carapace

 

Cost: 120/140/160

Cool-down: 100/80/60

Range: N/A

 

Description: Dehaka causes all enemies in a 5 unit radius of him to lose a percentage of their health every second for 6 seconds. Dehaka gains 50% of the damage lost in healing. Every stack of Evolved causes the ability to slow affected units for 5%.

 

Level 1: Enemies loss 9% health per second.

Level 2: Enemies loss 12% health per second.

Level 3: Enemies loss 15% health per second.

 

 

 

PREDATOR ABILITIES:

 

 

(Q) Lethal Swipe

Primary Stat: AGI

 

Cost: 60/70/80/90

Cool-down: 22/20/18/16

Range: N/A

 

Description: Dehaka lashes out with an extra long claw doing spell damage to all enemies within 3 units that are in front of him and knocking them back 3 units. Every stack of Evolved will cause the target to bleed for an additional 5% of the damage over 3 seconds.

 

Level 1: Deals 80[+60% weapon damage] spell damage.

Level 1: Deals 160[+60% weapon damage] spell damage.

Level 1: Deals 240[+60% weapon damage] spell damage.

Level 1: Deals 320[+60% weapon damage] spell damage.

 

(W) Primal lance

 

Cost: 70/80/90/100

Cool-down: 24/20/16/12

Range: 8

 

Description: Dehaka grabs the target with his hook and yanks them 8 units in his direction (overshooting if less then 8 units away) and deals spell damage. Each stack of Evolved will cause the ability to slow the target for 5% after being hit by the lance.

 

Level 1: Deals 60(+75%INT) spell damage.

Level 2: Deals 120(+75%INT) spell damage.

Level 3: Deals 180(+75%INT) spell damage.

Level 4: Deals 240(+75%INT) spell damage.

 

(E) Thrill of the Hunt

 

Cost: Passive

Cool-down: Passive

Range: N/A

 

Description: Dehaka gains increased movement speed every time he attacks a target stacking up to 5 times. Stacks fade after 3 seconds. Every stack of Evolved causes this ability to also increase his weapon speed by 1/4th of the movement speed increase.

 

Level 1: Each attack increases his movement speed by 4%.

Level 1: Each attack increases his movement speed by 6%.

Level 1: Each attack increases his movement speed by 8%.

Level 1: Each attack increases his movement speed by 10%.

 

(ULTIMATE) Evolutionary Bloodlust

 

Cost: 140/160/180

Cool-down: 100

Range: N/A

 

Description: Dehaka goes into a frenzied state, causing all his attacks to do additional damage and hit all units with a 4 unit area in front of him. Each stack of Evolved causes his attacks to do an additional 1% current health as true damage.

 

Level 1: Each attack does an additional 75[+30% weapon damage] physical damage in front of him. Last 5 seconds.

Level 2: Each attack does an additional 125[+30% weapon damage] physical damage in front of him. Last 5.5 seconds.

Level 3: Each attack does an additional 175[+30% weapon damage] physical damage in front of him. Last 6 seconds.

 

 

 

FIEND ABILITIES:

Primary Stat: INT

 

Special Note: Weapon animation changed to tossing slime ball and attack range increased to 5.

 

(Q) Vile Secretion

 

Cost: 80/120/160/200

Cool-down: 20

Range: N/A

 

Description: Dehaka unleashes bile stored in his sweat glands in a 3 unit area around him. Each stack of Evolved will cause the bile to stick to enemies, slowing their movement speed by 5%.

 

Level 1: Deals 30[+30%INT] spell damage per second.

Level 1: Deals 50[+30%INT] spell damage per second.

Level 1: Deals 70[+30%INT] spell damage per second.

Level 1: Deals 90[+30%INT] spell damage per second.

 

(W) Hurl Gastrolith

 

Cost: 60/100/140/180

Cool-Down: 15

Range: 8

 

Description: Dehaka throws a stone coated in his stomach acid at the enemy target, doing damage and stunning them briefly. Evolved allows Dehaka to throw the stone harder, giving the enemy a concussion and causing them to be stunned for 0.2 seconds per stack 5 seconds after being hit.

 

Level 1: Deals 80[+75%INT] spell damage, stuns for 0.8 seconds.

Level 2: Deals 120[+75%INT] spell damage, stuns for 1.2 seconds.

Level 3: Deals 160[+75%INT] spell damage, stuns for 1.6 seconds.

Level 4: Deals 200[+75%INT] spell damage, stuns for 2 seconds.

 

(E) Bile Ball

Cost: Passive

Cool-Down: Passive

Range: N/A

 

Description: Dehaka's auto attack becomes coated in a viscous fluid, coating all hit enemies with the fluid for 3 seconds that will cause the spell attack to do bonus damage. Will be removed once activated. Each stack of Evolved will also increase spell damage of next spell cast by 3%. Cannot proc on the same target more then once every 8 seconds.

 

Level 1: Deals 30[+30%INT] bonus damage.

Level 2: Deals 50[+30%INT] bonus damage.

Level 3: Deals 70[+30%INT] bonus damage.

Level 4: Deals 90[+30%INT] bonus damage.

 

(ULTIMATE) Toxic Spew

 

Cost: 120/160/200

Cool-down: 180/140/100

Range: 8

 

Description: Dehaka channels for 1.5 second before unleashing everything in his stomach in front of him damage all enemies within 8 units in front of him dealing massive spell damage drenching them in vomit for 5 seconds. Each stack of Evolved causes this ability to channel 0.1 seconds faster and silence for 0.5 seconds per stack.

 

Level 1: Deals 325[+75%INT] initial spell damage damage, then 25[+20%INT] spell damage per second.

Level 1: Deals 450[+75%INT] initial spell damage damage, then 50[+20%INT] spell damage per second.

Level 1: Deals 575[+75%INT] initial spell damage damage, then 75[+20%INT] spell damage per second.

Excellent, this fits Dehaka's character really well. It's a pity that you can't swap forms though, maybe you could make him sacrifice another 30 stacks to change forms? There's a couple of balance issues here and there, but it's a great job overall. I think it's be a fine addition to AoS.

I can't imagine it would be that good, as once you choose a certain specialization I assume you will buying items that favor that build. However, considering that someone might make a mistake in their choice or realize they need to play a different role I will add a change type option with 300 second CD.

Actually I was thinking of a hybrid build where Dehaka transitions from one class into the other from early to late game. For example, you could build caster-tank and start with Fiend before evolving into Titan when spells start to fall off.

 

I see. Either way, I already added the ability with a 300 second CD and cost of 2 stacks of Evolved.
