Doom
Name: Problem.Resolver Portrait: Ghost (the terran level 20 achievement portrait) Unit Base: Ghost (completely black) Type: Long Range Killing Machine Script: In response to the many mighty auto-attack heroes in the Forests of the Imperial Sanctum, Doom has called in his latest specialist. A deadly assassin, Problem Resolver can bring down even the toughest enemies in a single shot, before anyone even knew he was there. Starting Stats: Base Health – 230 Movement Speed – 2.7 Attack Range – 6 Attack Speed – 1.7 Base Damage – Attack Name | Animation - Mark IV Penetrator Round Base Armor – 1 Strength – 24 + [4] Agility – 36 + [7] * Intelligence – 26 + [6] -- Heroic Passive: High Ground "When attacking a unit that is standing on a lower elevation than himself, Problem.Resolver gains an additional 4 range." Effect: a highly positioning intense passive. Really dictates where you will go, and forces you to use the map. Defending Levi/Aeon, or ganking the enemy at their mid tower just got way easier. -- Ability One: Disabling Shot "After carefully aiming, Problem.Resolver fires at an enemies weapon, causing it to backfire and not work for several seconds. Enemy takes spell damage based on a percentage of their max attack damage." Energy Cost: - 90/105/120/135 Cooldown: 18/16/14/12 Range: 15 Level 1: Lasts for 0.75 seconds, 60% of max damage. Level 2: Lasts for 1.5 seconds, 80% of max damage. Level 3: Lasts for 2.25 seconds, 100% of max damage. Level 4: Lasts for 3 seconds, 120% of max damage. Effect: very deadly against lone assassin wanna-be's like Nova, Darpa, Shadow and Zeratul, that have high weapon damage, and very little ways of dealing damage without their AA. -- Ability Two: "Problem.Resolver takes extremely careful aim, achieving additional crit damage and chance per every second aiming, up to a maximum of 5. Lasts for 3 seconds after channel is over/canceled. Energy Cost: - 100/125/150/175 Cooldown: 20 Range: - Level 1: 5% Critical Chance, 2% Crit Damage per second Level 2: 10% Critical Chance, 4% Crit Damage per second Level 3: 15% Critical Chance, 6% Crit Damage per second Level 4: 20% Critical Chance, 8% Crit Damage per second Effect: If you let him stand there for 5 seconds and take aim..... well, 100% crit chance and 40% extra crit damage at max levels. In an actual team fight, this skill is near worthless, since you can't really stand around for all that long, but for those assassination missions and levi steals...... Ability Three: Never no one here (Passive) "Every time Problem.Resolver lands a killing blow, he cloaks for several seconds and gets a 6 second movement speed bonus." Energy Cost: - Cooldown: - Range: - Level 1: 1 Second Cloak, + 10% movement speed Level 2: 2 Second Cloak, + 20% movement speed Level 3: 3 Second Cloak, + 30% movement speed Level 4: 4 Second Cloak, + 40% movement speed Effect: You may not have noticed, but Problem.Resolver's base movement speed is slow. That is intended, you cannot have an ubber fast ninja running around the map, sniping unsuspecting fools from the high ground. As much as we'd love to see that. However, this skill at least allows you to hightail it out of there once your dirty work is done, without giving him any offensive advantages. -- Ultimate Ability: GG shot "Problem.Resolver takes a few seconds to ponder on the meaning of life, before arming his weapon with an ubber-charge, which causes it to deal more damage, at greater range. However, his rifle needs time to cool down, before he can take another shot." Energy Cost: - 250/400/550 Cooldown: 120/110/100 Range: - 15, break range of additional 10 units. Level 1: Cast time of 3 seconds, deals 300 (+ 100% weapon damage) physical damage, cools down for 6 seconds. Level 2: Cast time of 2 seconds, deals 500 (+ 100% weapon damage) physical damage, cools down for 4 seconds. Level 3: Cast time of 1 second, deals 700 (+ 100% weapon damage) physical damage, cools down for 2 seconds. Effect: could be a finishing shot, or the only shot in a gun fight. Just make sure that that guy you just oneshot didn't have his buddies close by.
Banzaiguy
Reminds me alot of Zer0 from borderlands. Not that that's a bad thing. I love Borderlands. And Zer0. His skill set is very fitting for a sniper, so it's a good concept. For now I have a problem with E. It's weaker levels are too weak, I mean 10% speed and cloak for a second? I think it should be 4 seconds at all levels while maintaining the scaling speed. Eliwan
Hitechgunner
Make E 3 seconds 1+2, then 4 at level 3 onwards
Nuparu
Effect: You may not have noticed, but Problem.Resolver's base movement speed is slow. Effect: very deadly against lone assassin wanna-be's like Nova, Darpa, Shadow and Zeratul, that have high weapon damage, and very little ways of dealing damage without their AA. Sonic Grenade/Mossberg Taser... ...and every example you gave has a great escape method, lol. Vanish, Desperado Jump, Vortex, and Planar Void respectively. :P
Doom
Phantom Menace, Shinobi Style, Zeal, and Swiftness say "hi". Sonic Grenade/Mossberg Taser... ...and every example you gave has a great escape method, lol. Vanish, Desperado Jump, Vortex, and Planar Void respectively. :P Well, the first one means you sacrifice item slots/ talents, whatever. It's not meant to be a super-crippling weakness, just a minute one that you have to be diligent to. As for the other ones, none of those abilities do damage, so..... Nuparu
...but they also stop your hero from raping the hell out of them, and then, much like shrapnel pre-nerf, they just roll on back in and flob you over.
Doom
Well I wanted to make a sniper, not a wtfwallhax unit.
Banzaiguy
Oh right. Is his ulti considered a physical attack? Remember when BHM procced on Balrog's ult? I figure the same thing could happen with this guy's ult.
Doom
No, I think not. More like Grunty shotgun, so it can crit, but not proc item effects.
