Super troll Brine (mini guide)

So I've been trolling pubs lately, with a very fun brine build, I do have to give props to Itsthatguy for showing me the starting of this build.

So I start off with a Durans Pendant, this helps get rid of your mana problems and really allows you to abuse pull early game.: :DuransPendant:

Now here is where the super troll starts, and before I begin i wanna say that this has never been tested anywhere but public games, so I dont know if this would work against really skilled teams.

but the next item is a phantom menace, this really gets your movement speed going and with the recent buff to it, you can really get some insane pulls. no picture?

now I get silver soul, to add to the fact that your already flying around the map, now you can really fly with your W and the silver soul proc.

and now you have 2 options, i usually lean to the latter, but they are both good ways to go.

option one, if your going agianst a team with a lot of spell damage, and you need to get tankier, I get spell buffer, and of course, we get this for the movement speed first ;) :SpellBuffer:

now we move onto my a bit more favored option, which is gravity edge, this really allows you to start getting some major damage with your ult, and of course....the movement speed :p

by now your fast as shap, and can pull across half a lane with no problem, so if you want to call it quits and start building damage or tank, you can. but i dont :)

now I usually go for yamato, since it is the most usefull item left that can still give you a boost to your movement speed. it really really comes in handy :P :YamatoReactor:

and last but not least, I like to get parallax cause your always in the teams face, its easy to get focused down with CC and stuns so ya.

It's not troll enough if you get the non-movespeed items. Ideally you'll be so fast that tankiness is obsolete since they can't catch you. Get the major speed boost items first, so you'll have an easier time earning money when you get tons of assists from dragging people across half the map to your allies. Also, people would've rqed after you get half your items, so it's better to aim for more movespeed first for maximum trolling. Silver soul, phantom menace, Yamato, shinobi style, sliptide scythe and arcbound is probably the highest speed build you can probably get.

 

There is a somewhat viable version of brine speed build in in houses that involves parallax and warp shard, but it takes awhile for you to get high speed since you've swapped speed items for those. Just time your blink with parallax's debuff immunity, grab an enemy and rush out with high movespeed(haste helps quite abit) before the immunity wears off.

ya I just usually dont have a team in pubs, so i have to get some tankiness cause i get abandoned so often, but overall. your fast as shap lol. and nobody can hit you with anything

having all speed isnt good enough, i did a similar build with brine and was doing just fine till reaper got time spliter and FOE. with those and his clip i got slowed down to 1 speed and couldnt get away. the bs part of it all when u cast your pull if reaper jumpes at the right time your pull goes on cd and gliches now u gotta wait for your only defense vs reaper to come back.

 

and about the dial it has a decent cd where if you build speed its always going. you can get to a constant 5 speed and then when u u se your W and silver soul you will be at 7 speed.

Yea, you probably move faster than dial's with super movespeed brine. But james is right, slows are really powerful against speed builds. Even a Nitrogen slow is enough to cut your effectiveness drastically. Good news is, due to pubs' slow reaction time and lack of truesight, you can get the drop on them and get out of range before they can slow you.

Usually tho i actually get

1) Pendant First

2) Impact Dial

3) Warp Shard

4) Phantom Menace

5) Silver Soul

6) Paradox

7) Sell Pendant for Gravity // Spell Buffer

8) Spell Buffer // Gravity [sell Impact

9) Small Hadron Collider

10) Yamato Reactor

 

Then you have

1) Phantom Menace

2) Silver Soul

3) Gravity

4) Spell Buffer

5) Small Hadron

6) Yamato

:D

In addition you need Swiftness and Zeal Buff. Ally Leo also helps :D

 

With hadron you can engage and run super easily if you get hit by slows // stuns :P

I just tried some variants of this on pubs....NOPE....the only times it really made a difference was with good teammate...it was waay to focusable....this may change dpending on temwork of course, but I`d rather have SHC tele in, plug, run back and dial myself...makes sure u get there instantly and makes sure u pull there at leas the dial distance and FAST...this allows for 4 more items that could make you tankier....ok ok ok I`ll grant the spell buffer for a slot, cause its sexy movement, spell resist, aura effect and solves regen problems and energy problems you might have

 

other way I`ve tried brine is the following: dial, SHC, SHM, Nitro, FoE, Electric

 

the items themselves allow you to tank a lot of damage AND they serve for a different kind of TROLLING

 

tele stun in, pull back + dial...shm + nitro slows enemy and you continue to chace him usiung your Q(more spell slow damage) and auto attack (with FoE it slows)...enemy cant really escape by himself, and when the cc is zero you can pull enemy again.....rinse and repeat...electric is not there instead of buffer as a spell resist item cause it makes cd`s faster, gives life and weapon damage for you, and sometimes when the enemy realizes he has trouble to escape he might decide to aa you....LOOOOL....so SHC, electric and your pull.....thats 3 stuns....the nitro gives 25% slow and Foe cant remember how much....but thats roughly half movement speed no a snails pace...

 

and if it turns into a war of attrition remember that shc and dial eventially will reset the cooldown so if it takes long and someone manages to help him escape you can just tele back and pull dial again

 

it doesnt offer much movement ina passive way, but its better for pulling and not dying while ensuring no enemy withpout a tele mechanism can escape you

What kind of pubs are you playing where people don't build glass cannon AA heroes? :(

when i build speed brine i make sure to get gravity edge. but with ur Q you will drop someone 10% hp more if they dont spell resist because it also has a base damage. and ur R does a large amount of damge as well. but when i build him for talents. 0/3/3. health, hp regen, movement. energy regen, movement energy. and for skills i get one point into his heal and one into his drag. then max out his resistance, grab ulti when i can. but vs a player make sure to us ur R to get close, cast Q then drag them way back away from safety. at that point auto attack for ulti. keep up with them as they run away when Q and ur drag is up use it again. most heros unless stacking ms dont run that fast so u can pull them further then they can run before your drag cd is back up. hence they will never make it back unless thier team comes.

thx for the tips....ill try doing the q for the resists while pulling....dunno why i never do that

 

also, my main proble is once everyone has detect or is covered by someone elses detect I cant get close with R...thats when I feel like this build has problems....I cant kill someone smart that can see me so I´m stack on a vicious circle where to kill them like you say I need to get rid of their truesight bearers....and to do that I must find another way to kill them....keep in mind this is pubs where I often find myself having zero teamwork so I want solutions that dont rely too much on teammates
