Unit Base: Dark Zealot (dark red colour)

Type: Carry/Caster/Escape/Burster[Medium-Hard]

Script: Solar always being a gladiator, and always fighting to his death, decided that he would head to the Aeon of Storms to train for thier fight versus Lunar. Being a smart gladiator, he predicted that Lunar would come, so once he heard Lunar was deciding to come, and try and defeat him, Solar officially came. He hopes to take out Lunar before thier fight.

Heroic Passive: Solar Orb

Solar has a flying red orb that circles him. This orb is used for all of Solar's abilities. Solar can press the hotkey assigned to this button (q) and bring the orb back to him, dealing damage to all units it passes. Solar's orb deals 50+(50%INT) spell damage each time it moves through a unit. Provides 5 unit vision around the orb.

 

Effect: Makes it so he can only cast one ability at a time, because the orb is used for all of them.

Size is 2.2 units wide.

Looks like vorpal orb, but bigger and red.

Great for last hitting.

Floats 3 units away from him, from the center of the orb.

Ability One: Sun's Heat.

Solar's orb heats the nearby areas, dealing spell damage to nearby foes. Does more damage the longer they have been affected by this ability. Effect ends once you leave the Solar Orb's radius.

Energy Cost: Passive

Cooldown: Passive

Range: 7 unit aura from orb.

 

Level 1: Deals 10+(5%INT) spell damage a second. Gives all nearby foes 1 stack of Burned per second. Does 4 additional spell damage per stack of Burned, and then deals (2%INT) spell damage over 5 seconds for each stack of burned.

Level 2: Deals 15+(5%INT) spell damage a second. Gives all nearby foes 1 stack of Burned per second. Does 6 additional spell damage per stack of Burned, and then deals (2%INT) spell damage over 5 seconds for each stack of burned.

Level 3: Deals 20+(5%INT) spell damage a second. Gives all nearby foes 1 stack of Burned per second. Does 8 additional spell damage per stack of Burned, and then deals (2%INT) damage over 5 seconds for each stack of burned.

Level 4: Deals 25+(5%INT) spell damage a second. Gives all nearby foes 1 stack of Burned per second. Does 10 additional spell damage per stack of Burned, and then deals (2%INT) damage over 5 seconds for each stack of burned.

 

Effect: Like real life, the longer your burned, the more it hurts.

Decent area effect.

If you have a problem with the damage, move away from it slightly.

Since orb rotates, difficult to always stay in range.

Ability Two: Orb Toss

Solar throws his orb in a direction, dealing bonus spell damage to every target it hits. This orb stays here until recalled, or until Solar goes a specific range from the orb.

Energy Cost: 70,85,100,125

Cooldown: 23,20,17,14

Range: 11

 

Level 1: Deals 30+(25%INT) spell damage added on to Solar Orb's damage, until it hits target point. Solar can be 7 units away from the orb until it returns.

Level 2: Deals 50+(25%INT) spell damage added on to Solar Orb's damage, until it hits target point. Solar can be 9 units away from the orb until it returns.

Level 3: Deals 70+(25%INT) spell damage added on to Solar Orb's damage, until it hits target point. Solar can be 11 units away from the orb until it returns.

Level 4: Deals 90+(25%INT) spell damage added on to Solar Orb's damage, until it hits target point. Solar can be 13 units away from the orb until it returns.

 

Effect: Travels at 7 units a second.

Stays at location targeted.

Skill shot.

Ability Three: Solar Flare

Solar's Orb makes a Solar Flare, damaging all units in a 4 unit radius around the orb.

Energy Cost: 110,120,130,140

Cooldown: 23,20,17,14

Range: Cast on Orb?

 

Level 1: Deals 100+(50%INT) spell damage.

Level 2: Deals 150+(50%INT) spell damage.

Level 3: Deals 200+(50%INT) spell damage.

Level 4: Deals 250+(50%INT) spell damage.

 

Effect: 4 unit aoe damage.

Casts on orb.

Ultimate Ability: Solar Link

Solar creates a beam between him and his orb, stunning all foes that it hits, and then charges to the orb, dealing spell damage to all foes that he hits.

Energy Cost: 150,210,280

Cooldown: 70,50,30

Range: Infinite/as far as orb is away.

 

Level 1: Stuns for 2 seconds, and deals 200+(80%INT) spell damage.

Level 2: Stuns for 2.25 seconds, and deals 300+(80%INT) spell damage.

Level 3: Stuns for 2.5 seconds, and deals 400+(80%INT) spell damage.

 

Effect: Good Initiation.

Escape if used properly.

Solar charges at 10 units/second.

Beam looks like drakken laser.

Beam is 3 units wide.

Thanks for reading, and please make a constructive comment \ suggestion! May be balanced, but requires good landing and apm to play properly.

Cooldowns are fairly low, so prolly need to lower scaling.

Well yea, this hero's balance is actually quite ok.

 

Only problems I see would be the low damage and energy cost of his skills.

 

Burned debuff should be abit more damaging. Maybe 4/6/8/10, or simply a flat 2% INT at all levels. Orb toss needs 30% more energy cost and maybe scaling range per level like 7/9/11/13.Double the base damage on solar flare and leave the INT scaling at 50%, then increase energy cost by about 50. Ulti is fine.

 

It's quite a nice concept, maybe not that original, so overall I'd say this is 7/10.
