NoWaterJustIce
I feel like i have been on mumble quite a bit the last few days and im not sure where you are comming from. Yes because of global play there are a lot of Ih's on EU during the middle of the day when there aren't normally enough NA players, but around dinner time they have been switching back to NA. Midknight
Sad that when someone sticks up for what they think they get ostracized... Welcome to the human race. It happened to Socrates, Galileo, and countless others throughout history. It's an inherent part of human nature. Some people look for what's new, some people hold on to what's familiar. Too much of the former, and we have recklessness and abandonment of tried and true methods. Too much of the latter and we have stagnation and oppressive fundamentalism. Progress is in the balance between the two. It's not inherently bad to stick up for what you believe; but what if what you believe is incorrect? What if you're sticking up for your belief that the moon is made of cheese? Or that state-funded health care is inherently a bad thing? Or inherently a good thing, for that matter? No one really knows for sure what's right or wrong; all we can do is make an assumption as to which one is more likely, based on previous assumptions. Occasionally, you'll be able to anchor some assumptions to a principle that, logically, cannot be untrue (for example, It cannot be true that Truth does not exist, therefore Truth must exist). But, by and large, nearly all of our "knowledge" and "facts" are matters of assumptions. Many of these assumptions are agreed upon; in the scientific community, they are called Theories. For example, the Pythagorean Theory is assumed to be true because it was tested and could not be proven false. But, on the subject of trigonometry, I'm starting to go on a tangent. The point is that just because you stick up for something doesn't mean you're correct. Also, just because a lot of people agree with you doesn't mean you're correct. When you are correct, it's because your line of thinking has lead you to a conclusion that, just so happens, to coincide with objective reality. Hogwarts
Sad that when someone sticks up for what they think they get ostracized. Sad that all of mumble is on EU now instead of NA. Sad that now a large portion of the NA community never get to play anymore, even if the game is on NA. we play on EU in the morning and play on NA on the evening .......... Aellectris
@Midknight - I don't think it's entirely the same. Socrates, Galileo, and those countless others were willing to listen to others and have meaningful discussions, whereas those who are ostracized from mumble etc. are generally rude, more arrogant than even me, don't listen to others, and tend to be objectively incorrect (at least in relation to the standard assumptions of most human beings). doxthefox
Nice to see that college philosophy can be applied to AoS... O wait am I trolling? Probably, but I got that A- in metaphysics while maintaining a 1900 elo in yahoo pool throughout the class so I might as well use it right? How about the theory of philosowinners in AoS, particularly in the NA region. You know...those that think their way is always right and always win the argument simply because they're a brand name player over actually trying out the ideas of others and seeing the results for themselves. Perhaps Eu is simply friendlier than NA and appeals more to the masses. Except Residente, that guy is subnormal. BestPlayer

EterNity
Got lagged by .gif files... What kinda of stone age computer you are using!? lol anyway... I don't feel any difference when EU people comes to NA. Plus, it is always good to play with different people anyway. I don't believe I am going to say this but the current EU players are not as bad as it was back in the 5.0 era. Most of them are actually friendly and chill people. Banzaiguy
i dunno. i just felt like mine was appropriate for AoS... Why abuse Asian children though? RohTube's the only bad Asian. It's a good thing we SEA players clearly have the strongest and largest Mumble community. I don't know what I'd do if all our players went off to play LoL and DotA 2. @Midknight They should have released it on White Day instead of Valentine's. @residente That sounds strangely pedophile-like. WhaleTits
Why abuse Asian children though... Hey, what ethnicity do you think i am? @residente That sounds strangely pedophile-like. A trend in manga/anime
Banzaiguy
My bad, I'll add you to the list with RohTube then. I wouldn't say it's a trend. The examples are just pretty infamous. Also, I'm not sure whether RWBY is classified as anime.
Hogwarts
i lol'd i dont know why pepper thinks every one is out to get him, just tonight he joined mumble and came into the channel that had 20+ people and we were looking for 1 more for an ih, and he volunteered to play, but there were other people who have been waiting much much longer then him and so that person got picked, then pepper says something like" are you seriously not going to pick me?" then rage quits mumble.. when he was in the channel for a whole 5 mins? we were not being bm to you pepper we were just being fair to other players. you really need to take a look and try to deal with this blind rage you have, such hostility makes for a extremely un pleasant gaming experience, i play for casual fun, and i have no clue why your up set that na and eu players are playing together. this isnt some 1960's city bus where the blacks and whites are forced to be separate, as i said its all casual fun,

Revolution
That is kinda bm actually. You guys need 1 more to inhouse. He's your 1 more and then someone gets picked over him that wasn't originally one of the 10 players.
