Reaper
I am having a constant problem trying to play any custom game and ever ladder match games (atm i can only play AoS and 4v4 ladder matchs) they just wont load and when i say that i mean trying to get into a custom game the little icon in the middle of the screen just keeps turning and will not showing the loading icon and im missing names from arcade and they are replaced with ... (three dots) and when im trying to download content for 3s, 2s, and even 1s it comes up with a message simply saying cannont connect try again later. and I have knowidea what the problem is if more info is needed i can write the specific letters and numbers i get with the error message this is painfully annoying as i do love playing AoS but sometimes you do like to play something else just to have a small break P.S im not computer person so if there is a fix could u pls write it in...thick head terms thanks guys EDIT:i have put this onto blizz website its been up for about 3 weeks now and no response

xNOVAxPRIMEx
Im not sure i think someone else was having this issue on the forums not too long ago. I may have scanned it and by no means suggest this but perhaps might lead you in the right direction. Might try searches on it. Assuming its not your internet connection itself. If i recall they chatted with blizz support and there was a file that was corrupt and i believe they just deleted the file and was fixed. I am not suggesting to go delete files but you might wanna research more into it. I'll have to see if i can find where i got this information a little later. Eliwan
tbh; logout and log back in. If that doesn't work, close SC2 and reopen it. If that doesn't work, restart computer. If that doesn't work, go back to top. Sadly that's all the advice I can give-- alternatively what fixes it for me is diving into any map and exiting. tukeykramer
I would suggest you try deleting your SC2 cache files. You can find them in the following location: Win 7 / Vista: C:\ProgramData\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net\Cache Win XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net\Cache (I think)

I think that is what i saw as a solution. "cache files" rings a bell.
Revolution
Chimera was having this problem as well.. he was a SEA player. Idk if he resolved it, but you should definitely ask him. Maybe he knows a fix if none of the above work. xNOVAxPRIMEx

Chimera
The problem is SEA players can't download anything on the NA server. For example, when I get invited to the AoS beta it pops up saying 'clientsidecache_read_http_file_not_found' or when I try to enter a game I haven't played before it doesn't load. A solution to some people is to change their DNS settings. Try following these steps first: Go the Control Panel. Click Network and Internet, then Network and Sharing Center, and click Change adapter settings. Select the connection for which you want to configure Google Public DNS. For example: To change the settings for an Ethernet connection, right-click Local Area Connection, and click Properties. To change the settings for a wireless connection, right-click Wireless Network Connection, and click Properties. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. [*] Select the Networking tab. Under This connection uses the following items, select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) or Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) and then click Properties. [*] Click Advanced and select the DNS tab. If there are any DNS server IP addresses listed there, write them down for future reference, and remove them from this window. [*] Click OK. [*] Select Use the following DNS server addresses. If there are any IP addresses listed in the Preferred DNS server or Alternate DNS server, write them down for future reference. [*] Replace those addresses with the IP addresses of the Google DNS servers: For IPv4: 8.8.8.8 and/or 8.8.4.4. For IPv6: 2001:4860:4860::8888 and/or 2001:4860:4860::8844 [*] Restart the connection you selected in step 3. [*] Also, for some people only the 8.8.4.4 setting works. Try having this in the preferred DNS setting if the other doesn't work. If this doesn't work like it didn't work for me, the only option is to get an updated Blizzard Entertainment folder from someone who has the maps downloaded to the current version. I got one from a guy on the North American SC2 forums. See here on post #74. The updating is only a temporary fix and as soon as a new version of AoS is released you will need to update it again. I'll message you if a fix is found. iatebambi

Chimera
I found a permanent fix to this now. Go to all programs, accessories then right click on Note Pad. Click 'run as administrator' then go to open and find C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc. Make sure you have 'All Files' selected instead of 'Text Documents' then open the 'hosts' file and add this line to the end of the text: 12.120.152.128 us.depot.battle.net After this go on to SC2 and it should allow you to see and download all the maps as normal.
