Baggins
Well, I saw a thread that reminded me of this, but I have a question, lets say perchance that someone got another player down to -100% move speed, wouldn't this mean immobilization? Because if thats the case, Jackson is too op, since he can do this by himself when built correctly. The story behind this is that I tried this, and I'm not sure if it worked correctly because I was fighting balrog, darpa and cyprus. Balrog would use screech to not be debuffed, darpa could jump, and cyprus wouldn't attack, or get close enough. Because this could shut down a shadow who tries to do a hit and run, which would be hilarious to watch.

Baggins
why you just dont get a friend, get jackson: retrofit, heated mantle, FoE, time splitter and tell us what's happening? Actually, the build does not include those 2 items, its just a dst, so he can tank and not have to AA to slow to death, but he can definitely go past 100% slow if he wants to. I was hoping for a faster answer than that, and who says I have any friends? D:

Aellectris
Slows stack multiplicatively, meaning that you can't really get someone to -100%MS. E.g If you have 20 slows on someone that reduce their MS by 20%, the result isn't -300% MS, it's .8^20, resulting in ~1.1% MS. WhaleTits
thats not the point................... that was an exaggeration to demonstrate the mechanics of a slow in AoS. Wrath and Psyght

The only way to immobilize someone by move-speed debuff is by having one that cuts it by 100% all in one go (just like spell resist, only Boros's Spellstorm which gives 100% SR will bring it all the way down to zero spell damage taken while 5x 20% SR wouldn't make you spell immune). IIRC, there are a couple of abilities coded to give 100% move speed reduction that work as "immobilize" effects (though, I don't remember off-hand exactly which ones), but it has to be all one shot; 100% move speed reduction as a single effect. doxthefox
What about moonwalk We could have a character that does this for us. It will be drakes rival. His moves will invert the characters sense of direction. Up is down, left is right. Front is back. We can call the character shinji hirako. Itsthatguy
I believe that heroes have a base +0.4 flat movement speed that doesn't get effected by slows. So if you hero has 2.8 + 0.4 movement speed and you lose 50% movement speed. It should be lowered by -1.4 movement speed and not -1.6 movement speed. Eliwan
It's actually +0.5 after slows. It's [MS * (1 - Slow%)... * (1 + Haste%)...] +0.
