"Requirements" to inhouse?

I have been here for a while now, and i have never tried an IH, mostly because i don't have the time to sit for 1:30-2 hrs for one game, but also because I have always felt that i wasn't very good at the game. I'm just curious, because i have seen a lot of people saying that going and playing IH will help you play better.

Tl;DR how good is good enough to start inhousing?

uh, you'll find out? i mean, how do you quantify good without a rating system?

we have some players who are far worse then the avg pub.. i think... i don't know, i rarely pub.

its more of a hang out (mumble) with games whenever. nothing really that organized other then by the people online at the moment.

If you're able to done the following without a problem you'll be fine:

1. Have a good amount of free time online.

2. Know basic and willing to work with your teammate.

3. Like to talk.

You'll be likable if you have following:

1. You're chill and talkative.

2. You're a girl.

You will not be so likable if you have following:

1. You can't stop talking.

2. You rage.

3. You are too easily offended.

However, apparently if you're Asian then it's okay for you to rage and still be likable!

I guess I am of a different opinion. If you play in pubs and on average go at least 1:1 k/d then you are probably fine to come and IH. If your average k/d is more like 1:4 then it is probably best if you come and be an observer for a few games. I know we are trying to get more players in the community but IH games are much more competitive than the normal pub and having players who are really new to the game and feed a lot will not make for good IH games. I am all for inclusion I just think we should be upfront about what we are looking for. I for one would prefer to have 5 good pubstars join mumble rather than 15 new players who don't really understand the game. That being said, I think I have pubbed with / against you before phyresis and you are probably fine to come and join up. Lord knows we definitely need more players who want to IH opposed to sitting in the lobby playing other games (pokemon, lol, dota2)

You must come to EU and talk to AresDragon. He is very mature and knows a lot about the game. He is usually first pick (from behind, but that doesn't matter). Anyway when u talk with him in mumble you will understand that he is a real man and can play till very late (he is definetly NOT living with his mother, who will NOT stop his internet if he doesn't go to bed before 10).

It is also a good idea to meet skydie, who is very pleasant guy, that's why nobody has muted him. You will have a lot of fun, I promise.

It means that even if you are a decent player you have to shut up and listen to bossy n000bs cherishing their ego, little mad kids and simply retards who like to rage. Otherwise you'll be considered as n000b and never be invited again. Welcome! xD
