Saving a pub game with leavers

Just make it to automatically choose one player(random - doesn't have to be the highest k/d/score whatever) from the opposing team to be switched to the disadvantaged enemy team.

 

3v5 will automatically swap one of the 5's into the 3's.

4v5 - shap too bad for you.

 

Many times, there will be a 3v5 game in pubs. And also - give a option for a player to SWAP to the disadvantaged enemy team.

 

This will get lesser rage then your UI update. Lesser shap-talkers in pubs since their ally can now actually KILL them, more fun. Unless - of course you're sooo scared that your friend got switched to the enemy team, and you are gay buddies that can never hit each other in a GAME, then u would not agree.

While I do not like the idea of switching players, I disagree its a waste of time to implement something to help even out games more when its at a big disadvantage unit wise. After all a vast majority of AoS games are played as pubs.

 

I suggest perhaps giving the disadvantaged any of these or perhaps upon testing a small amount of a few or all.

 

1. extra levels

2. an extra weapon slot

3. a special attack that helps keep one player out of the fight for a limited time

4. extra armor/health regen/ or something else to make player a bit less squishy

5. reduced stun duration against player

6. a chance to avoid "plucking mechanics" or even all types of CC

 

 

BTW this new GUI is terribad, please change it back, the game is now unplayable.

In pubs a 4v5 isn't too much of an issue as you still have enough map control to turn the game ahead if you're good. Although you have to have two solo lanes (or 3 solo lanes + jungler). The real problem is that the side lanes cannot be reliably soloed because the duo side gets to farm the neutrals, and without a jungler to help secure them there isn't much a single person can do to stop them from making up the shared minerals + xp.

On the bright side, pub players push hard, don't know when to back, and generally fail at making good plays so you'll see stuff like cocky lurker players burrowing themselves under your tower while you're the only one near it.

 

I find that playing Tassadar helps as he is pretty safe for a melee hero, can trade well once one of the enemy laners leaves (possibly netting you a kill), and can get double kills starting at level 6.

 

A 3v5 is imbalanced from the start unless you make 1-2 of the enemy players ragequit.

 

Of course, late-game the team with the most players wins, but there isn't much that can be done about it without making it unfair for one side or the other.

THE TEAM WITH LESS PLAYERS DESERVE TO LOSE

 

Sorry but it's the true, the current 7% whatever bonus is enought, I hate be a game 2v5 and can't win because 2 nerds refuse to surrender and turtle like mofos. They finally loose after 1 hour -.-

 

the disadvantaged team shouldnt even gain that 7% leaver bonus, they should have enought with the extra income, come on.

I have to disagree with these guys. I have won many many many 2v5, 3v5, even some 1v5. You need to feel what kind of pub game you're in. If they have even 1 feeder, it's possible to win.

 

I have lost 2v5 and 3v5 just as much as I win them. Your team needs to play together to win, if you have more players. In pubs this isn't very common. Just yesterday I won a 2v4 that went over an hour. I had to switch up my build about 3 times. With the help of shadow pushing lanes, we were able to find small windows of opportunity to damage the artifact. Got Levi 1 last time and pushed home for a win.

When I see myself since the start in a 2/3v4/5 situation I can only do 3 thinsgs, leave because it will be unbalanced, get an agi hero and abuse the income and make a 40-0 score or pick any hero and trust that my random mate will carry the game.

 

I think this game should be ALWAYS 5v5, to exploit the fun and the mechanics by the 100% I find no fun on play against a nova with a terrible income, die 15 times with 3 shots, but finally win because that nova is a pubtard who just want kills, and instead of push and finish, continue farming, my whole team get the core items 2 and "gg"...

When I join a pub I think of myself diving into a barren wasteland with no rules, no morals... Found a bug? Use it. New user feeding? Death threats. This isn't sissy ass FarmVille.

 

There's no mercy in my jungle and I'll never wave that white flag.
