Items stacking stats are nerfed too much after patch.

Hi dudes, lets speak about this items. Like valor's manifest etc.

I think after patch they are nerfed to hell too much, especially INT and AGI versions. You need 10 kills/assist to get full benefit of the items, while loosing it all after death.

And with curent mechanics in a good game it's nearly impossible for AGI/INT hero not to die. (Here I dont mean pubstorm games, like 1 team farming other to hell)

So I suppose mb STR item need smth like 7 stacks to fully gather, while AGI and INT need to return to 5 kills.

Any ideas?

I just use it as a cheap way to get intel with a nice cooldown buff. If I die late game I usually just replace it with another Argus.

Yah the cooldown is nice on some heroes for the price. Blue gene is the only one I would really bother with on any hero because the stats are not that bad, independent of the stacks.

I think maybe a slight buff is needed, cause if your at full 10 stacks, you worked your ass off to get full 10 stacks, then you die and its ALL gone. but I don't have a real suggestion that wouldnt be op xD just saying i think they deserve a small buff.

for all the noo....I mean dudes... complaining about losing 10 charges...if you have 10 kills or assists(that granted you those charges) you already have so much cash that you are transitioning into other kind of items....u know....like endgame items...like someone said before, just like to buy argus and so.

The snowball items are cheap, they give you minor stats, and long term provided you dont play a feeding style, you will get much more than that you paid for...bluegene can potentially give the intelligence of an argus + cooldown reduction for 1250....if you get even 5 charges it is a ridiculous bonus for what you paid for. If you die lategame by then you just have all the late game items and the snowball items dont seem so significant.

Bottom line is: if you dont plan on effective ganks, or teamfighting in a safe way(like support maybe) this items are not for you.

If the team composition is not suitable for it, then don´t buy them...they are situational. Someone before said what if I play darpa and they have dps....DPS? think bigger....what if you play darpa and they have like a nuke caster on every lane....would you buy valors and complain on forums? yeah you do, BUT YOU SHOULDNT!!!...you would be buying an item that gives you benefits for not dying long term when you are sure to die.

If you are going some way of a back support only role for early game...you could buy 1 or even 2 snowball items(ei: torch and bluegene) and cause youll likely never die youll be getting insane stats for early game making you better support/tank/ overall undying and maybe even killer. Thats the role of this items. The game is designed so eventually teambattles will come and you WILL die....but by then this items wouldve fulfilled their role. They shine on early laning for chars than can support or gank effectively without getting killed. On this phase they reward warding and map awareness as well as teamplay. They also incentivate enemy teamplay if you start getting stacks so theyll try to teamgank you....

BUT OVERALL THEY ARE SITUATIONAL....just like every other item...people should stop getting the same item build all the time and complaining without need...if you are having trouble staying alive dont get this and scream qq UP...get the items you should be getting...I mean....as a caster if you cant stay alive you are better getting for the same amount of minerals 2 pendants than a bluegene....you get permanent intel boost and LIFE...duh!!!....dont want to die getting valors? get the infamous multi machete...if you really want to you can get the snowball item later

actually those items (especially Torch and Valor's) can be viable again on tanks. Since Pyre nerf they are much harder to kill, so they can get advantage of stack items.

Unlikely.

If a tank/initiator is playing like he's supposed to, that is with little regard to his own health, he is quite likely to die.

That being said, Olympic Torch only needs 2 stacks total to be cost-efficient relative to other items.
