Question About PYre

Just a quick question.

 

If a hero has shields, does Pyre count that in the Max Hp.

 

Meaning: If someone has 10000 Hp, they should take 500 damage from pyre.

If someone has 5000 Hp and 5000 shields, do they take 250 damage or 500 damage?

If someone has 5000 shields and 0//5000 shields do they take 250 damage or 500 damage.

 

I just ask this because, having shields on a person may cause a slight buff on pyre, by the fact that it deals more damage to their base Hp if the shields hit 0. If it doesn't even counter shields, then having Shields may be a good counter towards Pyre, other than just pure Spell Resist. (Meaning Galactic would be pretty good to counter pyre with its spell resist and shields).

The main reason is to prevent it being an item that had to be rushed to take advantage of an early levi. As was the meta game in the past.

yea I used to rush pyre, but lately, i find myself getting it as my 2nd or 3rd item.
