Remove all Agility Characters

For the longest time everyone has had problems with these guys. If it's not the burst damage from boros ulti then it's the incredible sustain from leaching or the fact that we can't finish off that b!tc# nova! So I think that we should just remove them all. I mean who cares about agil characters anyway right. All you do is right click with them or press a button and they win the game. They do so much damage to towers too. I mean are they agil characters or tower pushers. Anyway get rid of them all. Thanks.

Meh, I suggest toning down leech by 100%, meaning that a 20% lifesteal item, will grant only 10% lifesteal, BUT buff ALL lifesteal items in a different way, possibly giving some weapon damage or attack speed in response to that. I know that Executioner axe is a counter, but it is rather lame when a hero can restore 400 hp per second. It seems weird that AGI heroes have the best healing out of all heroes. (The fact that a glass cannon nova with 2 life steal items, was actually gaining hp, when I, an INT vorpal was dealing 400 damage per second. In old old version, there was only one life steal item, and wasn't directed towards AA heroes too. AGI heroes at that time were over powered without life steal. I dislike how life steal is the most constant and highest heal. A 10% Lifesteal from a 425 mineral item, can cause you to heal 100 Hp per second... Just wow... Lower effects of Lifesteal but make AA Lifesteal type items better if there is a loss of lifesteal. I've actually had battles vs another AA, where we both healed more HP than we were dealing damage to each other and we both had Pyre... It took about 45 seconds of max attack speed fighting until one of us won... meh...

Another idea I suggest is Agi characters could lose level every time they level down? level -1, level -2 and losing stats.

 

Btw I know Red is now adding a new system. Now when you are bubbled or nova is close to you, your computer does auto alt+tab, open this page, forum and auto title your post " Zera or xxxx so OP, Bubble so OP". This way all criticism is joined in a big recopilation.

Armor mitigates lifesteal. Barbed almost entirely destroys it. Same with ex axe.

To be fair though, axe costs 2400 and is pretty much useless outside of countering leech and therefore hurts your overall build

Where as leech is very easily obtained early game in large quantities and can be abused rather easily to get doubles or triples long before anyone can reasonably build for axe.

 

If you go axe first or second your overall build will suffer, if you get leech on any AA hero it always complements your build no matter when you choose to get it. So there is some truth to the leech scaling being rather IMBA on agi heros. There are plenty of games where I have died / seen someone die in the early-mid game in a fight they should have won hands down simply because the opponent had enough leech built already from talents and 1-2 items that you couldn't counter it easily, and it was too soon to have an axe....

 

I think the simplest solution is to buff the stats axe provides so that it is a more useful item even if someone isnt using leech, so that it doesnt screw you if you have to go for it early on, but outside of that I do think leech could use some degree of nerfing.

 

I also think that quistmann may be right that leech is based off of your base weapon damage not damage done to target, but I am not sure because I dont usually watch the regen numbers that closely

 

I can also tell you with 100% certainty that barbed does not counter leech a lot of the time, there are plenty of times where people are able to outleech the damage from barbed, I have seen it countless times...

 

You may reflect 50% of my damage as spell damage (which I have a natural 15% resistance against and can easily double that for 875 or get 7 more from talents), but I can easily leech you for 20-30% or more of that same damage with base leech and add +50% more with gluttons. A 1600 mineral item nullifies the effectiveness of your barbed and ensures you still die. Not to mention you are often recieving bonus damage in the form of crit and spell damage that barbed is not stopping or reflecting that cuts into your overall health and limits how much damage you can actually reflect..

 

Axe is the counter to leech, barbed only works if they dont have a lot of leech

 

Either way though, gluttons is only 1600, where as leech counters cost at least 2K or more and often do little to actually help your overall build, making leech rather IMBA to build against if you think about it. (not that building taser to counter casters really helps your build either)

 

Do I think this means agi heros should be removed from the game? No not really

There are ways to deal with them (pulling into towers for early-mid game, or chain stuns etc)

And in the late game you get access to shrapnels(hands down one of the best AA counters) and axes as well as shadowmourne

 

That aside Axe really needs a buff to its base stats, and barbed could probably use one too altho im iffy about that

(barbed was wayy more effective when it returned true damage, but since it returns spell damage its rather weak, since its easy to stack spell resist as part of a normal build)

 

I am actually rather sad that shadowmourne has been nerfed as much as it has (damage output and major price increases) because it was the goto counter to agi heros for quite some time, till all the agi players cried OP

Was stupid easy to rush 1-2 of them on your team and trololol as agi heros killed themselves

And it felt really good to make them b.i.t.c.h for once :P

Tanks fall off late-game without a carry.

They don't really do enough damage to kill other tanks faster than a carry can.
