AoS/SotIS5.0 Community on Baidu

The Baidu forums show a prevalence of players who play across multiple platforms, rotating between DotA, LoL and AoS. There appears to be a preference for game mechanics from 5.0, particularly for hero balance to revert to that stage, while keeping the current, up-to-date map. There is much debate on the change in game speed due to removal of transporters, with many professing that they preferred AoS over DotA because of the faster pace and being less tied down to lanes found in earlier versions,

These are primarily opinions from the China players who have crossed over to NA for the updated AoS map

The main problem they have is that the China servers are still stuck on 5.0, with the massive number of bugs which were brought about by the Starcraft 1.5 patch (Those annoying white spheres)

The Chinese player base there shows detailed understanding of the ARTS genre, doing up hero rankings based on objective factors such as farm potential (the typical Chinese farming metagame), skill synergy/utility, user friendliness, gank prowress

On a side note, the translated hero names and skills are bloody hilarious., whoever translated those.

If you use any translator (google/ mdbg) you will need someone to then translate that gibberish into something understandable.

Anything that is more prominent outside of China is a waste of time and should be avoided, example ( Traditional characters & cantonese ) as they are a dying breed.

If you want to reach this audience, you need a person to translate for you in mandarin using simplified characters.

By the way, I also am this person.

如果你有用一个翻译者,你还需要翻译好几次。

什么的比较流行在中国外都应该避免,例如繁体字和广东话既然这些越来越没有用。

要是你想要达到这观众,你需要一个人来用简体字和普通话给你翻译。

再说,我就是这位人。

发给我一个电子邮件在 mattwareing@gmail.com 谢谢
