How to counter early game Jakk

I am having a difficult time countering Jakk during the early stages of the game. I like to play Darpa nowadays but I find with other heroes that I use, I get harassed so much. Jakk's repertoire of grenades and skill shot gun out ranges most of my characters. I can't seem to deal with Jakk. If I'm too passive I lose the tower, and if I'm too aggressive I run into mines and potentially die.

Suggestions plz!

Jakk is a great laner, with great harass, long distance, and one of the few forms of energy sustain. The only thing rolling off the top of my head is to hope hes playing far from his tower, sneak behind him using trees and that fun stuff or even cloak. Use the talent that gives you 50% move and attack speed and just silence him first so hes forced to run and then get full stacks for a spider and you will have harrassed him quite well. If he is a good Jakk, he's gonna be a huge pain in the ass and he will probably see you coming a mile away. Late game, jump in, taser, sonic grenade, and spider. While he's silenced you should out DPS him if you are a competent Darpa. You just have to have you're A-game for microing.

Agree with Jaysi, and also: call for ganks from appropriate teammates. An Egon/Darpa tag-team will easily flatten any squishy caster like Jakk with the combination of Egon's silence, then cyanide clip+attack and Sonic grenade. That's roughly an 8 second silence for you and if you can't kill him in that time, you're definitely going to pull him out of lane to go heal.

Rancor can also be a great help with either initiation assistance, or a finishing/saving snipe.

Micro, if he's on your team, would be your BEST friend. Jakk is positioning, all positioning, and Micro excels at un-positioning heroes. Once you get Jakk into a bind, he melts fast.

Beyond that, if you must, rush either a Phase Cloak or a Mossberg Taser, or even a Flare Gun for quick "Jump-o-hai-BOOM!-you're-dead" attacks. If he seems to know every single time you're coming, invest in a true sight elixir to spot those pesky spyder wards.
