- Began creation ^-^ So I wanted a Critical hero. I needed to remake Rimzel anyway.

Abilities:

 

Heroic Passive: Marking Shot

"Whenever Rimzel deals damage to a target, all units that attack that target have +4% Critical Chance. If a unit has 5 stacks, the next attack that hits them deals 40% of the damage in an AoE, damaging the original target as well.

*Marking Shot Shot debuffs refresh whenever Rimzel deals damage to an enemy.

*Does not consume stacks for True Damage."

 

 

Effect: A increase in damage by increase of Critical Chance that stacks. =] This skill doesn't amplify True Damage, which prevents massive abuse via Dustin or epic fail because 140% of MAAR's destroyer aura isn't good.

Animation: Each stack increases green particles around a target (think Nova's Psionic Web except spherical around the target). When stacks are consumed, a burst happens, like Cyprus' Seismic Wave.

Ability One: Eagle Mark

"Rimzel marks a target for 10 seconds. When Heroes are attacking Marked targets, auto-attacks deal bonus Spell Damage. Additionally, Rimzel has +100% Critical Chance when attacking Marked targets."

Energy Cost: 80

Cooldown: 13

Range: 8

 

Level 1: 17 +10% AGI bonus Spell Damage.

Level 2: 23 +10% AGI bonus Spell Damage.

Level 3: 29 +10% AGI bonus Spell Damage.

Level 4: 35 +10% AGI bonus Spell Damage.

 

Effect: A simple damage boosting skill that actually highly increases Rimzel's DPS with Critical Attacks.

 

Animation: Green swirl like that of Stuns/Silences.

Ability Two: Enhanced Targetting

"Rimzel increases the potency of Critical Hits on his enemies for 4 Critical Hits, as well as increasing attack range. Lasts for 7 seconds.

Passively makes Marking Shot have extra Critical Chance and increases damage from Marking Shot's explosion effect."

Energy Cost: 65

Cooldown: 25

Range: --

 

Level 1: +15% Critical Damage, 7 range. +5% Critical Chance per stack of Marking Shot and 50% damage from explosion.

Level 2: +25% Critical Damage, 8 range. +6% Critical Chance per stack of Marking Shot and 60% damage from explosion.

Level 3: +35% Critical Damage, 9 range. +7% Critical Chance per stack of Marking Shot and 70% damage from explosion.

Level 4: +45% Critical Damage, 10 range. +8% Critical Chance per stack of Marking Shot and 80% damage from explosion.

 

Effect: Tons of damage? Yes please. +60/100/140/180% damage. =] Low damage though-- if you don't use it smartly it will not be as useful.

 

RRAANNNGGEEEE OOOOOPPPPPPPP? Could be used to own towers since Towers can't be critted against.

Ability Three: Hawk Shot

"Rimzel shoots a rocket that hits a vital spot on the target, stunning for 0.5 seconds and slowing by 30% for 3 seconds.

Passively, nearby allies gain bonus Critical Chance."

Energy Cost: 40

Cooldown: 12

Range: 7, 10 radius for aura

 

Level 1: 30 [+55% Weapon Damage] Physical Damage. +8% Critical Chance.

Level 2: 45 [+70% Weapon Damage] Physical Damage. +12% Critical Chance.

Level 3: 60 [+85% Weapon Damage] Physical Damage. +16% Critical Chance.

Level 4: 75 [+100% Weapon Damage] Physical Damage. +20% Critical Chance.

 

Effect: Harassment technique as well as a finish / chase move.

Ultimate Ability: Blast Charge

"Rimzel launches two attacks at once for 10 attacks, and grants bonus Movement Speed for 7 seconds. While Blast Charge is active, Rimzel and allies' Critical Hits deal a percentage of their damage in an Area of Effect as Spell Damage.

Blast Charge automatically applies 5 stacks of Marking Shot to all enemies on the map."

Energy Cost: 250 + 100

Cooldown: 120/105/90

Range: Radius 6, 3 radius for Crit AoE

 

Level 1: 60% Damage during Blast Charge. +15% Movement Speed aura. 20% Critical Damage to AoE Spell Damage.

Level 2: 70% Damage during Blast Charge. +20% Movement Speed aura. 30% Critical Damage to AoE Spell Damage.

Level 3: 80% Damage during Blast Charge. +25% Movement Speed aura. 40% Critical Damage to AoE Spell Damage.

 

Effect: Well, I really don't have enough to add here.

Additional Information

 

Critical-centric and quite obviously so; Rimzel will be such an epic troll when combined with Nova and Boros.

I made him before Cerebro existed, so... P=

 

But in all honesty, if you don't get a Cerebro, he's fine in terms of balance. I don't want him to have to rely on a specific item because he's supposed to be a support AA hero with chase potential.

 

So yes, Cerebro breaks him. But... I want him to have that True Damage. He's got almost nothing except his Criticals to use-- which is quite nice but also very annoying [because of Cerebro].

Khali + Blackhole + Darwins + Pyre + FoE (for chasing reasons) + Timesplitter would be ownage. It would make his first attack with enhance targetting deal around 400 physical damage, 600 spell damage and 600 true damage. In my opinion, the hero is a better version of nova. Much better at 1v1 than nova, and the range makes it so enemies cant even engage him. At first i thought the hero wasnt OP just the fact that he didn't have massive range.
