So.. there will be no more transporter? No way to get lane again fast?

 

protoss has to buy a warp prism for transport

 

zerg has to buy an overlord for transport

 

if your ally purchased one, you need to get a ticket to join the ride.

 

the transporters have 1000 hitpoints (warp prism has 500/500). if they die, the heroes inside will be dropped right under the transporter. if there is no space, the heroes are dead.

The warp prism has a speed of 1.0 as well as the overlord. To upgrade it to 1.2 speed you will need 1000 minerals. I think ill just walk with my 3.0 speed though. Aside from the trolling, how about making multiple wards take up one slot up to a max of 5 per slot. Without obs its getting hard for vision on the map for those that actually care about getting ganked.

Instead of teleporters. You have a return to base crap button "D." You have unlimited of these where every time you press "D" you teleport back to base but any damage negates the effect and you'll have to rechannel. However, the difference is that you are unable to transport back to your lanes. So if you die in lane you'll have to walk back. One talent (from new talents) allows you to teleport anywhere near an allied unit. I can see Utility talents to be fairly popular now that Teleports are out.

Not sure if the LoL solution was the best one, but it's a good thing transporters are out, consequences aside, imo. They're a bit of a waste of money because you pretty much need them anyway. A more streamlined approach would be better. However I don't think the LoL approach is streamlined as it favors snowballing (level advantages get even bigger now) and generally makes the game more boring (chasing people down is less fun, snowballing occurs at early levels, carries become harder to play, oh wait!)

I am just reading through the changelog, here are some impressions:

 

Queen seems totally OP now:

 

- Banelings now have 60% Spell Resist.

- Baneling Health increased to 80, up from 60.

- Baneling Strike now spawns 5/8/11/14 Banelings, from 5 at all levels.

- Baneling Spell Damage decreased to 35/50/65/80 (+15% INT) from 35/60/85/110 (+35% INT).

- Banelings now spawn in a random area instead of clumped together.

 

This makes over 1120 spell damage on level 4 with banes. team fight GG.

 

 

- Attack speed cap raised from 315% to 350%.

 

Seems like a missive buff to all AA heroes.

 

 

Gabriel.Tosh

- Spectres now have 100+20*LVL Health from 50*10*LVL

 

i thought tosh was 1 of the most balanced heroes of all. well, whatever.
